Hey everyone! I finally took the plunge and picked up a brand new WRX over the weekend, and I couldn't be more stoked. The car drives like a dream, but now that it's sitting in my driveway, I’ve realized I really want to get the interior sorted out before I start putting too many miles on it.

I’m specifically looking for items that balance protection with a bit of extra functionality. For instance, since the new models have that massive 11.6-inch infotainment tablet, I’m already getting paranoid about fingerprints and glare—has anyone found a screen protector that actually looks factory? I’m also struggling with the center console; it feels like a bit of a deep, empty pit where everything just gets lost. I've seen some talk about drop-in organizer trays, but I want to make sure I get one that doesn't rattle around while I'm hitting the corners.

Lastly, I'm torn on floor mats. Are the OEM Subaru all-weather ones sufficient, or should I be looking at something with higher walls like TuxMat or WeatherTech to protect the carpet near the dead pedal? I want to keep the cabin looking sharp without going overboard on 'tacky' mods. For those of you who have had your WRX for a few months, what are the absolute 'must-have' interior accessories you’d recommend for a new owner?

Just catching up on this thread... I went through this last year. Having owned three different generations of this car, I've learned the hard way that Subaru interiors are built for abuse, but they sure do show wear if you arent careful. I spent the first few months with my VB trying to find a balance between price and quality, mostly cuz I didnt want to turn my brand new car into a catalog for cheap plastic lol.

Here is what I found during my little trial-and-error journey:

1. **Screen Protectors**:
- **Spigen Tempered Glass Screen Protector for Subaru WRX 11.6-Inch**: This is what I eventually landed on. It's basically invisible and feels like the original glass, but it actually hides prints way better than the naked screen.
- **Tufskinz 11.6 Inch Infotainment Screen Protector**: I tried this matte film first. It's great for glare, but it kinda blurred the resolution for me, so keep that in mind if you like the crispness of the display.

2. **Floor Mats**:
- **TuxMat for Subaru WRX 2022-2024**: After seeing my old car's carpet get ruined by salt, I skipped the OEM ones. These cover literally every inch of carpet. Honestly, they look way more high-end than the rubber look of others.
- **WeatherTech FloorLiner for 2022-2024 Subaru WRX**: These are the gold standard for durability, but they're pretty stiff. I found they can occasionally slide a tiny bit compared to the TuxMat clips.

3. **Console Organization**:
I know someone mentioned the JDMCAR tray, but I actually went with the **Vesul Center Console Organizer for Subaru WRX 2022-2024** because the rubber inserts were a bit thicker. It hasnt rattled once, even when I'm hitting the backroads pretty hard.

tbh, you don't need a million mods. Just focus on the high-touch areas first and your good! peace.

Ok so, the VB interior is great but has some gaps that'll drive u crazy. That huge screen gets greasy FAST, and the console is basically a black hole. Here's what I'd grab:

- ScreenProTech Subaru WRX 11.6-inch Infotainment Screen Protector for glare.
- JDMCAR Center Console Organizer Tray for 2022+ WRX to stop the rattling.
- TuxMat Custom Fit Floor Mats for 2022-2024 Subaru WRX for the best dead pedal coverage.

Honestly, those mats are worth every penny!

> I want to keep the cabin looking sharp without going overboard on tacky mods. Ok so, I gotta ask first: what kinda climate or environment are you actually dealing with on the daily? Like, are you in a place with tons of snow and salt, or is it mostly just city dust? Knowing that helps narrow down if the heavy-duty brands are worth the extra cash or if theyre just overkill for your needs. Tbh I have spent way too much time doing market research on this stuff, and here is a quick tip on some alternatives that keep things looking clean:

  • 3D MAXpider KAGU All-Weather Floor Mats are the way to go if you want protection but hate the industrial plastic look of the bigger brands. They have a textured finish that blends in SO much better with the factory carpet.
  • Noble Performance Fuse Box Coin Holder is basically a mandatory swap for that useless blank panel by your left knee. It adds a little extra drawer for small stuff without adding any clutter to the dash. Both of those are super cost-effective and wont make the interior look like a construction zone.
