Which interior protection accessories are best for the new Subaru Crosstrek?

Hey everyone! I just picked up a brand new 2024 Subaru Crosstrek and I’m absolutely in love with it. Since I plan on taking it on a lot of hiking trips and probably some beach runs, I’m really anxious about keeping the interior in pristine condition. I know Subarus are built for the outdoors, but I want to make sure I’m protected against mud, sand, and the occasional coffee spill.

I’ve been looking at the official Subaru all-weather liners and the rear seatback protectors, but I’m wondering if they’re actually the best choice or if I should be looking at aftermarket brands like TuxMat or WeatherTech instead. I’ve heard mixed things about the coverage of the OEM mats, especially near the driver’s footrest. Also, has anyone found a solid solution for protecting the center console and the door panels? It feels like those areas might get scuffed up pretty easily with gear moving in and out. I’m willing to invest a bit more upfront to avoid wear and tear down the road, but I want a perfect fit that doesn't look bulky.

For those of you who have lived with the new Crosstrek for a while, what are the absolute must-have interior protection accessories you’d recommend to keep it looking showroom fresh?

Honestly, I'm super happy with the TuxMat All-Weather Floor Mats for 2024 Subaru Crosstrek. Coverage specs are way better than OEM; they actually protect the entire dead pedal area which is a huge weak point iirc. For the trunk, I'd stick with the Subaru OEM Rear Seatback Protector J501SFN230 because it integrates perfectly. Works well for sand and mud! No complaints so far. gl

Just sharing my experience: I went through this last year when I got mine! I was literally obsessed with keeping the piano black console from scratching. Since I'm kinda on a budget but love looking at the technical fit of things, I found that the smaller 'filler' kits actually do a lot of the heavy lifting for daily wear.

Here is what I used to keep mine fresh for cheap:
* CupHolderHero for 2024 Subaru Crosstrek 19-pc Set - these liners fit every nook and cranny and make cleaning sand way easier.
* RUIYA for 2024 Subaru Crosstrek 11.6-inch Center Touchscreen Protector - honestly, that big screen is a scratch magnet, so this tempered glass is a life saver.
* Musology Carbon Fiber Style Door Kick Protectors for 2024 Subaru Crosstrek - helps with those scuffs on the lower door panels from hiking boots.

I iirc someone mentioned the floor mats already, but these cheaper additions really completed the protection for me without looking bulky. Gl with the new ride!! 👍

For your situation, I would suggest 3M clear film for the console. Maybe consult a pro shop so it wont peel?? It basically prevents scuffs without looking bulky... so yeah, just be careful!
