Best interior accessories for a Tesla Model Y Long Range?

Hey everyone! I finally took delivery of my Tesla Model Y Long Range last week and I am absolutely loving the drive so far. However, the minimalist interior feels a bit too empty, and I am already seeing how easily the center console and surfaces pick up fingerprints and dust. I want to make sure I protect the car while also making it more functional for daily use.

I have been looking at a few specific things like all-weather floor mats because I live in an area where it rains quite a bit and I want to keep the carpets pristine. I am also seriously considering those center console organizer trays since the deep storage bins feel like a bottomless pit right now, and it is a pain to find my keys or sunglasses. I have seen a few brands like Spigen and Tesmanian, but it is hard to tell what actually fits perfectly versus what just looks good in professional photos.

I am also curious if anyone has installed a matte screen protector and if it actually helps with glare during sunny days without ruining the screen quality. My budget is pretty flexible for high-quality items that will last, but I do not want to clutter up the cabin too much with unnecessary gadgets.

For those of you who have had your Model Y for a while, which interior accessories have turned out to be absolute essentials for you?

Seconding the recommendation above. Hard plastic inserts rattle like crazy. I'd suggest the Basenor Tesla Model Y Center Console Organizer Tray... it's budget-friendly and the fitment tolerances are actually spot on.

Hmm, I've had a different experience. I'd actually suggest avoiding those budget plastic inserts because they can shift during hard braking, which is lowkey a safety risk.

  • While mats were mentioned, you realy need 3D MAXpider KAGU All-Weather Floor Mats specifically because they stay pretty secure and wont slide.
  • Also look at Topfit Non-Slip Aluminum Performance Pedal Covers for better grip in the rain. Safety first, basically! gl

Ok so, congrats on the new Y! Tesla interiors look amazing but they are basically a magnet for dust and scuffs. Since ur worried about the carpets and fingerprints, getting the basics right away is honestly key for keeping the car from looking beat up in six months. It matters cuz those materials can be a pain to clean if you let them go too long without protection. In my experience, here is what I recommend for a solid budget setup:

  • TAPTES All-Weather Floor Mats for Model Y
  • Spigen Glas.tR EZ Fit Matte Screen Protector for Tesla Model 3/Y
  • Topfit Center Console Organizer Tray for Model Y The mats are usually around $130 and fit perfectly, which is way cheaper than the $200+ alternatives. That Spigen screen protector is about $35 and lowkey saves your eyes from sun glare while stopping the finger grease... and honestly just grab a generic organizer for like $15. It turns that deep pit into a usable spot for sunglasses. Total setup is under $200 which is a steal compared to some high-end brands! hope that helps. gl!

Quick reply while I have a sec! In my experience after owning a Y for years, you might wanna be careful with hard plastic inserts. I once bought a cheap organizer and the rattling drove me crazy.

  • I would suggest silicone liners... they dampen vibrations and protect the bins.
  • Make sure to get a rear seat back protector... that plastic scuffs easily. Lesson learned? Soft materials keep the cabin quiet tho!
