Considering the various types of car air fresheners available, such as vent clips, hanging diffusers, sprays, and solid fresheners, how do they compare in terms of performance within a Tesla? Which types offer the best balance of scent strength, longevity, and ease of use within the Tesla's unique ventilation system and interior design? What are your experiences with different types?

Watch out for those pricey setups tbh. I tried a few and realized you're basically paying for the brand name most of the time... you might want to consider just keeping it simple so you don't ruin the trim. Speaking of trim, I actually had to replace a piece of my door panel last summer after my nephew decided to use it as a canvas for his permanent markers. I was so stressed about the cost that I tried using hairspray to get it off... bad move. Ended up spending the whole weekend watching DIY YouTube videos while my wife just laughed at me from the porch. We eventually just gave up and went to get ice cream instead. Anyway sorry kinda went off topic there lol.

For my Tesla, I've found that vent clips can interfere with airflow, especially with the minimalist vent design. Hanging diffusers can look a bit out of place. I prefer Pura diffusers, as they integrate well with the car's tech and offer customizable scent strength and scheduling. While they're pricier upfront, the refills last a while. Some people mention good results with monitor-mounted fresheners too, claiming up to 60 days of scent, but I haven't tried those personally. Sprays are good for a quick burst of freshness but don't last. I'd avoid solid fresheners as they can melt in hotter climates. Ultimately, it comes down to personal preference, but something subtle and controllable works best in a Tesla's refined interior.
