Where can I find a Tesla Model 3 Highland for sale today?

Is anyone seeing any Model 3 Highland inventory actually available for immediate pickup right now? I've owned three Teslas and know the drill with the order tracker but the current delivery estimates for the refreshed 2024 model are all over the place and I'm seeing zero local stock on the site.

My 2021 lease is up in literally four days and I need a car for a commute starting Monday in the San Jose area. I'm looking for the Long Range AWD in Stealth Grey specifically but honestly I might settle for any color if it's sitting on a lot somewhere. Has anyone had luck finding unassigned units at the delivery centers lately or am I totally screwed...

Unfortunately the Highland inventory is just plain bad right now. Its been super disappointing seeing how few cars are actually hitting the Bay Area.

  • Try the WaitingForTesla tracker for better live data than the main site.
  • Consider the Tesla Model 3 Rear-Wheel Drive 2024 if you need a car today to save on lease costs. Tbh you might have to widen your search radius to Colma or even Dublin. I'm sure you'll find something eventually!

^ This. Also, I actually kinda disagree with the idea of just settling for whatever is on the lot right now! I remember when I rushed into my first EV and ended up totally hating the interior color within a month... it basically ruined the whole experience for me. The Tesla Model 3 Long Range AWD 2024 is such an amazing piece of tech with that new acoustic glass and the super smooth suspension, but if you're in a serious bind, compare it to a Tesla Model Y Long Range AWD first. The Y is way more available right now and honestly the extra ground clearance is a lifesaver on some of those rougher San Jose roads. The Highland has those incredible ventilated seats which are fantastic, but the Y is a proven platform while the Highland is still so new! Definitely check the Palo Alto center too, they sometimes have units tucked away.

I would suggest being very careful trusting the online inventory for the Highland right now. I've seen the Fremont hub listings lag significantly, and units often disappear before the page refreshes. You might want to consider calling the Lawrence Station center directly. Just a warning tho, sometimes those immediate cars are transport rejects with minor defects, so make sure to do a thorough walkthrough before signing.
