I’m loving my new e-tron, but the frunk is currently just a jumble of charging cables and my tire kit. I’m looking for a custom-fit bin or a divider system that keeps everything secure and rattle-free while driving. Does anyone have a specific brand or DIY setup that fits the Audi frunk dimensions perfectly?

oh man, i totally feel u on the cable mess!! when i first got my e-tron, the rattling from the tire kit actually drove me insane... like, i honestly thought something was loose in the suspension lol. i basically just went with some generic heavy-duty velcro crates from a big box store and they work AMAZINGly well because they just stick to the liner and literally never move.

Great info, saved!

+1 to what was said earlier about the rattle, it's seriously annoying. Ok so, i did a deep dive into the market dimensions and found that most "universal" bins just dont cut it for the Audi's specific floor taper. I eventually went with a DIY modular setup using high-density foam dividers. It basically keeps my current setup locked in place with a friction-fit. Tbh, checking the material density is key so things dont slide around during high-G turns!!

Sooo I actually went through this exact same thing with my e-tron! Honestly, that jumble of cables is *super* annoying. For your situation, I'd suggest grabbing the Audi e-tron Frunk Organizer Bag Genuine OEM 4KE061609 if you want that perfect factory fit. I think it was around $115 when I got mine. It basically keeps everything silent and tucked away. Seriously, it's a game changer for keeping the front clean! 👍

Regarding what #5 said about the rattle, it really is the worst part of the e-tron experience. We've already mentioned the OEM bag and those heavy Pelican cases, but you might want to consider a cheaper DIY route before dropping a hundred bucks. I'd be careful with the fitment though, make sure to measure the depth twice because the hood tapers more than people realize.

  • Grab a Drive Auto Car Trunk Organizer with Straps since it's flexible and way more affordable.
  • Line the bottom with Gorilla Grip Non-Adhesive Shelf Liner to kill the sliding noise for cheap.
  • Use simple industrial velcro strips to lock the tire kit into a corner. Honestly, spending big on tactical cases seems like overkill just for charging cables. Just watch out for anything too tall that might hit the hood liner when you close it... I've seen guys get nasty dents from the inside out by forcing it shut.

Seconding the recommendation above. Ngl, the OEM bag is solid, but for a safety-first approach, I prefer a hardshell case like the Pelican 1400 Protector Case or even the Plano All Weather Tactical Case 36". They're literally bombproof and stop heavy tools from becoming projectiles if you ever hit a major bump. Plus, the foam inserts keep things 100% rattle-free, which is way better than loose bags imo.
