I recently picked up a Cadillac XT6 and I’m loving the space, but I’ve noticed that my groceries and smaller gear tend to slide all over the place when I'm driving. I’m looking for a cargo organizer that actually fits the dimensions of the rear well, especially when the third row is folded down. I’ve looked at some generic bins, but I’m worried they’ll look a bit cheap in the Cadillac interior. Does anyone use the official GM collapsible organizer, or is there a better aftermarket option that stays secure on the carpet? I’m mainly looking for something with sturdy dividers and maybe some non-slip grip on the bottom. What are you guys using to keep your trunks tidy?

Quick question - how much of that rear well area are you actually trying to cover? I ask cuz if ur looking for something that perfectly fits the XT6's dimensions without sliding, knowing if you keep the third row down *permanently* makes a huge difference in the market research for the best fit.

I've done a ton of comparison shopping for high-end SUV accessories, and honestly, the price-to-performance ratio on some of these 'luxury' brands is questionable. Based on industry standards for grip and durability, I'm actually super satisfied with a more budget-focused approach that doesn't look cheap:

* Drive Auto Products Car Cargo Organizer - This one is basically a steal at around $25-$30. It's got those sturdy dividers you want and reinforced base plates so it doesn't sag like the GM one.
* Fortem Car Trunk Organizer with Non-Slip Bottom - Usually goes for about $35. It highkey stays put on Cadillac carpet thanks to the grip strips on the bottom.

Basically, you don't gotta spend $100+ to get that premium feel. Let me know about the row usage and I can narrow it down! 👍

Seconding the recommendation above about being careful with the flimsy stuff! Honestly, safety is the biggest thing for me—you don't want a heavy bin turning into a projectile if u ever have to slam on the brakes.

I've tested a few over the years and i'd basically avoid the GM Cadillac XT6 Collapsible Cargo Organizer cuz it just doesn't stay put. Instead, look at the WeatherTech CargoContain Storage Blocks vs the Rola 59001 M-O-V-E Rigid Base Interior Organizer. The WeatherTech blocks are great cuz they're super low-profile and 'anchor' stuff directly to the carpet, but the Rola is way sturdier for actual groceries. Just make sure ur gear is lashed down tight... better safe than sorry! gl!

For your situation, I think the official GM bin is actually kinda flimsy and lowkey disappointing. I've heard the WeatherTech blocks stay secure better on the carpet, but honestly, I'm not 100% sure... gl!

Honestly, in my experience, spending big on those high-end branded organizers is usually a waste. I've tried many over the years and the pricey ones often slide just as much. I basically just use a cheap, heavy-duty setup from a local big-box store. Just make sure whatever you get has those velcro strips on the bottom—it's seriously the only way to keep things secure on the Cadillac carpet without spending a fortune. 👍

Quick question - are u planning to leave it in there full-time, or do u need to fold it flat often for the third row? Honestly, I’ve been super satisfied just sticking with WeatherTech for my cargo needs. Their stuff basically never slides around on the Cadillac carpet, right? Way better than the flimsy OEM stuff imo. gl!

Yo, late to the party but I finally got my XT6 trunk acting right. Quick question before I ramble too much - are you mostly hauling light grocery bags or heavier stuff like tools or sports gear? It makes a huge difference for how much grip you actually need on that carpet so things dont fly around. I went the DIY route cuz I am cheap lol. I bought a roll of Star Brite Non-Skid Liner and cut a piece to fit the cargo well, then just threw a TrunkCrrate Trunk Organizer with Straps on top. The straps clip to the tie-down points so it literally never moves, and the liner keeps the base from even shifting an inch. Works way better than the overpriced stuff and I am super satisfied with how tidy it stays. If you want something more heavy duty, I have seen guys use the Veto Pro Pac CT-LC Cargo Tote. Its super rugged and wont collapse, but honestly, for groceries, the strapped-down bin is plenty. No complaints so far and it didnt break the bank!
