I’m finally taking delivery of my dream C8 Z06 next week, and while I’m beyond excited, I’m also a little paranoid about that first rock chip. Given how wide those rear fenders are and how much gravel these sticky tires tend to kick up, I want to make sure I’m protected from day one. I’m already planning on a full front-end PPF, but I’ve heard mixed reviews about the OEM splash guards versus aftermarket options like ACS Composite. I'm also considering Scrape Armor for the radiator inlets. For those of you who have had yours for a while, which specific exterior protection accessories would you consider 'must-haves' to keep the finish looking brand new?

Oh man, congrats on the Z06! When I picked mine up last year, I was SO paranoid about those wide rear haunches. Seriously, those sticky tires are basically glue and they throw rocks everywhere... honestly, it's kinda scary. In my experience, the OEM splash guards are just too small and didnt protect the paint well enough.

Here's what I recommend:
- ACS Composite C8 Z06 Front Mud Guards: These are a MUST because they’re wider than stock and save your rockers.
- Scrape Armor C8 Corvette Z06 Radiator Guard Screens: Those inlets are huge and will literally swallow rocks.

Just make sure to get them installed before your out on the highway. I learned that the hard way after a pebble dinged my radiator on day 2. Better safe than sorry, ya know? anyway, gl!

+1 to what was said earlier. The OEM guards are definately way too small for those wide rear haunches. I highkey suggest adding XPEL Ultimate Plus Paint Protection Film to the side rockers and behind the rear wheels too. Also, check out the Paragon Performance C8 Z06 Radiator Guard Grille Screens as a solid alternative for the inlets. They look factory and are super easy to install tbh. Congrats on the beast!

+1 to what was said earlier. The rockers are definitely high-risk! To keep things safe, I'd consider these:

- SlipLo Universal Bumper Scrape Guard Kit: Pro - protects expensive splitters from steep driveways; Con - adds a bit of thickness.
- NoviStretch Stretch Mask FBM650C8: Pro - extra road trip safety; Con - hides the front end looks.

SlipLo is basically insurance for your carbon fiber... ngl, it's saved me from several nasty scrapes already. gl! 👍
