What are the best interior storage accessories for a Dodge Challenger because I literally have nowhere to put my stuff and it is getting messy fast? Sorry if this is a super basic question but I just bought a 2022 Challenger and I have no idea where to start with getting organized. I love the car but the center console is tiny and my phone keeps flying off the passenger seat every time I take a turn and it is driving me crazy.

I have a massive road trip coming up next Friday to see my family in Phoenix and I am panicking because I have zero spots for my sunglasses or my extra charging cables or even a bag of snacks. I looked on some websites but everything looks the same and I dont want to buy something that doesnt fit or looks like cheap plastic junk. Are there specific brands that you guys use?

  • tray for the center console?
  • side pocket things for the seats?
  • something for the doors maybe?

My budget is around $150 and I need to get this stuff ordered like today so it gets here before I leave for my trip. I really dont want to do any permanent mods or drilling into the dash because I am scared I will ruin the interior since I am not handy at all. Does anyone know of any easy clip-on stuff that actually works and wont fall off while I am driving on the highway?

^ This. Also, I've been driving Challengers for over a decade and honestly, the struggle is real but there are easy fixes that dont look like junk. I'm super satisfied with the Vesul Center Console Organizer Tray for 2015-2023 Dodge Challenger because it literally just drops in. It turns that deep, messy pit into two levels so you can actually find your sunglasses and cables without digging around while driving. It fits like a glove and stays put even when you're hitting the gas. For the phone issue, stop letting it fly around the cabin lol. I've had zero complaints with the ProClip Center Mount 855052. It clips right onto the dash trim without any drilling or tape, so no damage to your 2022 interior. It is way sturdier than those cheap suction cup ones. If you still have extra cash left in that $150 budget, definitely grab a pair of Drop Stop The Original Patented Seat Gap Filler. It sounds kinda silly but it saves you from losing your keys or phone in the black hole between the seat and the console. These three things basically solved all my storage gripes and they look factory. You'll be totally set for that Phoenix trip if you get them ordered now.

I saw you mentioned the Phoenix trip, and honestly, you gotta be really careful with what you stick to the dash out there. The heat in Arizona will melt the adhesive off most cheap storage bins and leave a nasty residue on your new 2022 interior. If you want something that doesnt require any drilling or tape, I would suggest the CDEFG Car Door Handle Storage Box for Challenger 2015-2023. These just pop right into the door grab handles and turn those useless holes into actual pockets for your phone or keys. I use mine all the time and they dont rattle around when you're driving, which is a huge plus. For your sunglasses and extra charging cables, you might want to consider a visor organizer instead of cluttering the console. I have used the High Road Car Visor Organizer with 5 Pockets and Large Zippered Pouch for a few years now. It clips on easily and keeps your shades from getting scratched up in the glovebox. Make sure to tighten the straps though, otherwise it might sag over time. Since you're worried about things flying off the seat during turns, look into a Lusso Gear Car Seat Headrest Hook 2-Pack. They are super cheap and you can hang a small bag for your snacks or trash behind the passenger seat. It keeps the floor clear and prevents bags from sliding around when you hit those corners. Just be gentle when sliding them on so you dont scuff the headrest posts. Total cost for all this should be way under your $150 limit.

Building on the earlier suggestion, I have had some pretty frustrating experiences trying to get my gear sorted for long hauls. Honestly, I bought a generic vent clip for my phone last year and it almost caused a wreck when it snapped off during a sharp turn. It was terrifying. Unfortunately, many of these easy fixes just arent built for the vibrations of a real muscle car and I worry about things hitting me while I drive.

  • I tried a cheap visor wrap but it sagged so low it actually blocked my vision. I eventually went with the OneTigris Tactical Visor Organizer because it uses heavy-duty straps that stay tight against the roof.
  • The factory cup holders are way too shallow for big water bottles. I had a liter bottle fly into my footwell once which was super dangerous. Now I use the JoyTutus Upgraded Cup Holder Expander which has rubber tabs to lock the bottle in place. It feels way more reliable than letting stuff roll around.

Congrats on the 2022, though honestly, the interior storage is a total letdown. I've spent hours analyzing the cabin layout and unfortunately, the Mopar engineers really dropped the ball on ergonomics here. I had issues with the door pockets being basically useless for anything thicker than a map. It is definitely not as good as expected for a modern car, especially with that tiny console. I want to help you get sorted before Phoenix but I need a few more details so I dont give you bad data:

  • Are you looking for a phone mount that clips onto the vents specifically, or are you okay with something that uses the passenger grab handle?
  • Do you need the center console tray to be deep enough for a thick wallet, or just thin items like cables and coins? The tolerances in the Challenger cockpit are tighter than they look... just want to make sure it actually works for your trip.
