Which performance accessories should I add to a Dodge Challenger?

Im trying to figure out which performance accessories are actually worth the money for a 2021 Challenger R/T without voiding my warranty or just making it louder for no reason. I bought this car about six months ago here in Phoenix and honestly I love the look and the rumble but it feels a bit sluggish off the line sometimes. Its my daily driver so I need it to stay reliable but I really want to take it to the local drag strip maybe once a month just for fun and to see what it can actually do.

Ive spent hours on the forums and Reddit looking at different setups. A lot of people swear by a cold air intake like the Mopar or K&N ones but then I see other guys saying its just engine bay jewelry and doesnt do anything but change the sound because the stock airbox is already pretty efficient. Then theres the whole throttle body upgrade debate. I read that an 84mm or 87mm makes the response way snappier but then some people say it causes idling issues or throw codes if you dont do a full tune which I am trying to avoid for now since I dont want to mess with the PCM and get flagged by the dealer.

I have about $1,500 saved up right now and Im looking to do something before the weather gets too hot out here in the desert. I am not looking to build a 1000hp monster just want that feeling of being pushed back in the seat a little harder when the light turns green. I was looking at catch cans too which isnt really a performance boost but everyone says its a must-have for the Hemi to keep the intake from getting all gunked up with oil over time. Also thinking about maybe just getting better tires since Im still on the stock Pirellis and they spin like crazy if I even look at the gas pedal wrong. Is it better to spend that money on actual engine parts or just fix the grip issues first? I am just kinda stuck on what the priority should be...

Just catching up here. Before you spend that 1500, are you chasing actual horsepower numbers or do you just want that lazy factory throttle lag gone?

Pros: Makes it feel snappy instantly. Cons: Doesnt add real power.

Pros: Safe for warranty. Cons: In Phoenix, these just suck in hot air without a headlight air tube. Let me know which matters more.

^ This. Also, since youre in Phoenix, heat soak is gonna be your biggest enemy. Have you checked your intake air temps on the dash during the day? Before buying more engine parts, look into a ZAutomotive Tazer Programmer. It lets you use Line Lock and adjust fan triggers for a Mishimoto 180 Degree Performance Thermostat. Helps a lot with track runs without needing a full PCM tune.

honestly i would suggest being careful with engine mods if you want to keep that warranty safe. make sure to start with a Billet Technology Signature Series Oil Catch Can to protect the Hemi long-term. for the sluggish feeling just get better tires like Michelin Pilot Sport 4S 275/40ZR20. most engine parts wont do much without a tune which usually flags your car anyway.

To add to the point above: skip those cheap generic performance chips. In my experience, they just mask lean codes and can melt pistons. You dont want that in the Phoenix sun.
