I recently picked up a Ferrari California T and I’m absolutely loving the drive, but I’m struggling to find a practical spot for my phone. The interior layout is beautiful, and I really don't want to ruin the aesthetic with a bulky or cheap-looking plastic mount. I’ve looked at the air vents, but they have that unique circular design which seems like it wouldn't play nice with standard clip-on holders.
I’ve considered those magnetic adhesive mounts, but I’m hesitant to stick anything directly onto the leather dash or the trim. I primarily need it for running Waze during longer weekend cruises, as the built-in infotainment feels a bit dated compared to modern smartphone apps. I’m looking for something that is sturdy enough to handle spirited driving without the phone flying off, yet sleek enough to look like it belongs in a Ferrari cabin.
Has anyone found a specific brand or a custom-fit solution that works well without blocking the screen or the passenger-side display? I'd love to hear what you guys are using—is there a go-to hidden mount or a specific bracket that fits the California T perfectly?
Seconding the recommendation above. Honestly, those custom brackets are usually the only clean way to go, but I’ve had issues with the fitment being a bit loose during hard cornering... unfortunately.
If you want a sturdier technical alternative, look at the Kuda Mount 294025 Leather Console Mount for Ferrari California. It’s around $65 and wraps over the side of the center console. Since it's upholstered, it actually looks OEM and won't ruin your leather. Pair it with a Scosche MagicMount Pro 2 Magnetic Phone Mount for a low-profile setup that holds tight even when you're driving spiritedly. Just my two cents, hope it helps!
I went through this last year. Honestly, I had issues with those pricey custom brackets feeling a bit loose. Since I didn't want to spend a fortune or ruin the leather, I tried a cheaper DIY route using a Steelie Dash Mount Kit on a hidden trim piece. It wasn't as good as expected for spirited driving, unfortunately. Well, I mean, it worked, but the phone still wobbled. I'm still searching for that perfect budget-friendly balance, tbh!
Quick reply while I have a sec... honestly, be careful with those vent or dash options because the repair costs for Ferrari trim are just insane. I learned the hard way with a different car where a cheap clip actually cracked the vent blade... totally ruined my week. Now, I always stick to the windshield to save the interior and my wallet.

Hi there, and congrats on the Cali T! Honestly, I totally get the struggle—those circular vents are gorgeous but a nightmare for standard mounts. For your situation, I've found that a vehicle-specific bracket is the only way to go if you want to keep that premium feel.
I’ve been using the ProClip Center Mount 855074 paired with their iPhone+Holder+with+Tilt-Swivel+511666&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">ProClip Adjustable iPhone Holder with Tilt-Swivel 511666. It clips right into the dashboard seams without any glue, so it’s super sturdy during spirited drives adn won't ruin the leather! Hope this helps!
I ended up going the semi-permanent DIY route to get the stability I wanted. I have been using the Rennline ExactFit Magnetic Phone Mount PM01.62 for a while now and I am very satisfied with the result. It bolts directly into the dashboard frame behind the trim, so you arent relying on adhesives or vent clips that might fail. The CNC-machined bracket is extremely rigid and handles high-G loads without any vibration. I also considered a Panavise InDash Mount 75113-412 which is a heavy-duty steel alternative. The Panavise is technically superior for holding heavier gear, but it looks a bit more industrial. The Rennline is definitely sleeker and maintains the Ferrari aesthetic better. Both require removing a couple of trim pieces to reach the factory mounting points, but its a straightforward process if youre comfortable with a screwdriver. Tbh its the only way to get a truly secure fit that doesnt ruin the leather dash. No complaints so far after several long weekend trips.
