Hey everyone! I just picked up a new Mach-E and I'm absolutely loving the minimalist vibe, but I'm looking to keep the cabin looking pristine. Since that massive 15.5-inch touchscreen is such a fingerprint magnet, I'm already considering a matte tempered glass protector. Iām also on the hunt for high-quality all-weather floor mats that fit the cabin and frunk perfectly without looking too bulky or cheap. Are there any specific center console organizers or storage inserts you guys swear by to keep things tidy? I want to make sure Iām not missing out on any 'must-have' mods that improve the daily driving experience. What were the first interior upgrades you added to your Mach-E?
Seconding the recommendation above! A matte protector is actually essential because it diffuses light, which prevents the massive screen from becoming a mirror under the glass roof. For value, Iād suggest: - TuxMat All-Weather Custom Floor Mats for Ford Mustang Mach-E: Much better vertical coverage than standard mats.
- OCD-Parts Center Console Organizer for Ford Mustang Mach-E: Keeps the deep bin from becoming a mess. These keep the cabin feeling premium without looking bulky. gl!
In my experience, I've spent way too much testing these lol. Unfortunately, I was reallyyy disappointed with some "top tier" options:
- WeatherTech FloorLiner for Ford Mustang Mach-E: Not as good as expected, felt too industrial.
- 3D MAXpider KAGU All-Weather Custom Fit Floor Mat for Ford Mustang Mach-E: Much sleeker vibe and matches the interior better. Also, grab the BestEvMod Center Console Organizer Tray for Ford Mustang Mach-E cuz generic bins rattle like crazy. gl!
I'd actually suggest a different approach. Matte screens can distort visibility at night, which is a safety concern. I use RUIYA Mach-E Screen Protector because it's clearer and wont compromise the display view. 👍
^ This. Also, I would definitely be careful with the open space under the center bridge. Stuff tends to fly out of there if you're accelerating fast lol. I found that the AOSK Lower Center Console Organizer for Mustang Mach-E is basically mandatory for that spot so things dont end up sliding around under your feet. I'd also suggest looking at a protector for the little instrument cluster screen too. Everyone focuses on the big 15.5-inch display, but the small one gets scratched just as fast when you're dusting the dash. The Spigen Glas.tR Slim Instrument Cluster Protector for Mustang Mach-E is a quick DIY and keeps it clear. If you live somewhere sunny, you might want to consider the BASENOR Mustang Mach-E Glass Roof Sunshade... that glass roof looks cool but the cabin heat is no joke in July. Just make sure you get the clips seated right so it doesnt sag over time.
Like someone mentioned, that space under the bridge is a total trap for anything you put there. I have been driving mine for over a year now and I am really happy with how the interior has aged, especially since the materials are a bit different than what I was used to in my old gas cars. It basically still looks brand new if you stay on top of the dust. Are you planning on having kids or dogs in the back seat often? That usually changes the priority list for mats and protectors quite a bit. Also, is your goal mostly about protection from dirt, or are you trying to fix some of the storage gaps Ford left us with? I found that focusing on one or the other first helped me not go totally overboard with mods right away.
In my experience, you definitely dont need to spend a fortune to keep that cabin looking mint. I've had my Mach-E for over two years now, and honestly, some of the cheapest mods turned out to be the best long-term investments. For that massive screen, you're spot onāit's basically a grease magnet. I'd highly recommend the Spigen Tempered Glass Screen Protector Matte Finish for 15.5-inch Ford Mustang Mach-E. It usually runs about $35 and seriously saves your sanity when the sun hits the dash. Plus, it feels way smoother than the bare glass. For mats, if you want that premium look without the 'utility truck' vibe, I swear by the 3D MAXpider KAGU Series Floor Mats for Mustang Mach-E. They're a bit more than the cheapies (around $160), but they look like they belong in the car. If you're looking for a budget win tho, Tesmanian All-Weather Floor Mats for Mustang Mach-E are a solid choice and usually go for around $130 for a full set including the trunk. And dude, you highkey need an organizer cuz that center console is just one giant hole lol. I picked up the SENSHU Center Console Organizer Tray for Mustang Mach-E for like $15 and itās a total game changer for holding sunglasses and coins. So yeah, start with those basics and youāll be set! Welcome to the club, gl with the new ride!!
