I’m looking to replace the factory tires on my Genesis GV80, but finding good all-season options for these 22-inch wheels is proving tough. I need something that balances a quiet cabin ride with solid traction for rainy days. Does anyone have experience with specific brands that don't sacrifice comfort? What’s the best all-season tire you’ve found for this setup?

For the GV80’s 22-inch wheels, most owners look for a balance of plush comfort and longevity. The Michelin Primacy Tour A/S is the factory standard for a reason—it’s exceptionally quiet. However, if you want significantly better tread life, the Pirelli Scorpion All Season Plus 3 is a top choice, boasting a 70k-mile warranty. For those needing better grip in wet or light snow, the Continental ExtremeContact DWS 06 Plus remains unbeatable. They handle beautifully while maintaining the luxury feel.

I went through this last year after blowing a sidewall on a pothole. Honestly, the 22s are tricky because there's so little meat on the rim. I tried the Pirelli Scorpion Zero All Season Plus 265/40R22 because they have a noise-canceling system built in. They're super quiet on the highway, though maybe a bit stiffer than the Continental CrossContact LX25 265/40R22 mentioned earlier. Just be careful with alignment on the GV80—these big wheels are sensitive! 🚗

In my experience, finding the right balance for those 22-inch wheels is tough, but I've been really satisfied with the Michelin Primacy LTX 265/40R22. I've run them for two years now and they're honestly much quieter than the factory rubber. Another solid option is the Continental CrossContact LX25 265/40R22. Both offer great wet traction without ruining that smooth GV80 ride. Hope this helps!

Honestly, I had a rough experience with expensive 22s after hitting a pothole, so I'm always cautious now. For a budget-friendly but reliable pick, I'd suggest Vredestein Quatrac Pro 265/40R22. It's surprisingly quiet and handles rain better than most high-end brands, plus it's usually cheaper.

Wow ok that changes things. Gonna have to rethink my approach now.
