I recently picked up a newer GMC Yukon, and while I love the massive amount of space, the center console is basically a bottomless pit where my keys and sunglasses disappear. I’m also struggling with keeping the door pockets and cargo area from becoming a cluttered mess after family road trips. I've looked at some basic trays on Amazon, but I’m curious if anyone has found high-quality organizers that fit the specific dimensions of the Yukon’s interior perfectly. I’m especially looking for something sturdy for the deep armrest and maybe a foldable solution for the rear cargo area. What specific brands or custom-fit organizers are you guys using to keep everything tidy and accessible?

yo, congrats on the new Yukon!! honestly, the center console is basically a black hole if you dont get it organized. since you're looking for technical precision and high-quality fitment, i totally feel u on wanting something better than those generic flimsy trays. basically, the Yukon's console has a huge internal volume, and without tiers, it's just wasted space.

Here's what I recommend after testing a few setups in my own rig:

1. Vehicle OCD - Center Console Organizer Tray for GMC Yukon 2021-2024 vs. Salex Organizers Center Console Divider for GMC Yukon 2021-2024
- **The Tray:** This is fantastic for your quick-reach items like sunglasses and keys. It fits the upper lip perfectly with zero rattling.
- **The Divider:** This is the real game changer tbh. It's a grid system that goes *under* the tray. It stops your stuff from sliding around in that bottomless pit. I mean, the fitment is literally laser-accurate.

2. Ruiya Door Side Storage Box for GMC Yukon 2021-2024 vs. just using the factory pockets
- **The Inserts:** These basically turn the open door handles into extra cubbies. Reallyyy helpful for family road trips cuz kids can put snacks there instead of the deep door pockets where stuff gets sticky and gross.

3. TrunkShield Foldable Cargo Organizer for GMC Yukon XL
- If you have the XL, you NEED this. It's super sturdy and has non-slip pads so it doesnt fly around when you're taking turns. Plus, it folds flat when you need the full floor space for hauling bigger gear.

I guess it depends on how much gear you're carrying, but the Vehicle OCD combo is a MUST for that deep armrest. Good luck keeping it tidy! peace 👍

In my experience, you dont always have to drop a fortune to get a solid setup, but the cheap stuff definitely rattles too much. Honestly, I've tried many over the years and keep coming back to a few specific brands.

For your situation, I recommend looking at these two:

1. Vehicle OCD - Center Console Organizer for GMC Yukon (2021-2024) vs. Muslogy for Yukon Center Console Hanging Storage Box
- The Vehicle OCD one is basically the gold standard for a tight fit. It's thick plastic and doesnt move, though it's a bit more expensive than the knock-offs. The Muslogy hanging box is great cuz it leaves room underneath for bigger items you dont need often.

2. TrunkCrratePro Collapsible Portable Multi Compartment Trunk Organizer
- This thing is seriously heavy duty. It has a non-slip bottom so it wont slide around the cargo area during sharp turns, which is a HUGE plus.

Basically, stick with those and ur good to go. gl! 👍

Saw this earlier but just now responding. Regarding what was said about "> I’m especially looking for something sturdy for the deep armrest and maybe a foldable solution for the rear cargo area."

  • I definitely agree that durability is the most important part. If you are thinking about making your own dividers or using DIY bins, there are a few things you might want to consider for safety:
  • Make sure to use heavy-duty non-slip liners on the bottom of any DIY trays so they dont rattle or slide when you're turning.
  • Be careful with how much weight you put in those console bins; you wouldnt want the hinges to wear out prematurely from a heavy custom setup.
  • I would suggest securing any cargo area bins with a bungee or velcro so they wont become a projectile if you ever have to stop suddenly. It is always better to be a bit over-cautious when you are modifying the interior. Good luck with the project!

Sooo, I went through this last year when I first got my Yukon. I was honestly so overwhelmed by how massive that console is... it's like a cave lol. I tried some cheap plastic stuff from a big box store at first, but it just rattled around and drove me crazy cuz it didn't fit the technical specs of the interior right. I'm still kinda new to customizing, but I ended up trying the Vehicle OCD Center Console Organizer Tray for GMC Yukon 2021-2024 and it actually made a huge difference with the fitment. For the back, I was worried about things sliding, so I experimented with the Rola 59001 M.O.V.E. Rigid Base Interior Cargo Organizer which has these cool adjustable dividers. Quick tip: make sure you measure the depth if you have the power-sliding console version, cuz that changes things! It's been a process of trial and error for me, but getting those technical dimensions right is key so you dont end up with more clutter.

Coming back to this, I was wondering if you are looking for something that basically locks into place or just a drop-in tray? Also, what is your budget like for the cargo area stuff because some of the really heavy duty drawers are expensive as heck and I want to make sure I suggest something that actually lasts. I spent way too much time yesterday trying to detail my dash because I spilled a whole latte near the cup holder and it seeped into the trim... totally ruined my mood for the whole weekend lol. I ended up having to use a toothbrush to get the sticky stuff out of the cracks which took forever and now I am paranoid about even having drinks in the car. Anyway, are you planning on hauling heavy gear or just groceries in the back?

> I’m especially looking for something sturdy for the deep armrest and maybe a foldable solution for the rear cargo area. I have tried many different setups over the years but for the cargo area, you should skip the generic bags and check out the WeatherTech CargoTech Containment System blocks. They basically grip the floor mat and keep stuff from sliding around. For the console, I actually ended up with the JDMCAR Center Console Organizer for 2021-2024 Yukon because the rubber liners are way easier to pull out and wash than some other brands i have seen. Speaking of washing, I spent basically my whole Saturday morning scrubbing the third row because my youngest decided to sneak a chocolate shake back there. Found the cup wedged under the seat frame... it was a total disaster and smelled like a locker room in the heat. I had to use a bunch of upholstery cleaner and a soft brush to get it out of the carpet fibers. I love the Yukon's space but man, it is a lot of surface area to clean when things go south. Anyway, the blocks are definitely the way to go for the trunk.
