Hey everyone! I just picked up a new Hyundai Tucson Hybrid a few weeks ago, and I’m absolutely loving the ride so far. However, with winter right around the corner and a dog that loves the mud, I realized the factory carpet mats are going to get trashed almost immediately. I’m in the market for a solid set of all-weather floor mats that offer the best "edge-to-edge" protection.

I’ve been browsing online, but I’m a bit worried about the fitment specifically for the hybrid model. I know the floor layout can be slightly different from the standard gas version due to the battery placement under the rear seats. One of my main concerns is ensuring the mats don't accidentally block the battery air vents in the back. I’ve looked at the usual suspects like WeatherTech and Husky Liners, and I’ve seen some people raving about TuxMats for their high coverage, but I’m not sure how they hold up in a Hybrid-specific cabin. I really want something that covers the dead pedal completely and stays locked in place without shifting around.

Between WeatherTech, TuxMat, or even the official OEM Hyundai rubber mats, which ones have you found provide the tightest, most seamless fit for the current Tucson Hybrid?

i felt u on the battery vent worry! i actually just installed TuxMat Custom Car Mats for Hyundai Tucson Hybrid 2022-2025 in mine. i think they have the best coverage, especially over the dead pedal. - laser-measured fit
- hybrid-specific vent clearance
- stays locked in place i guess just make sure to double-check the part number? i was worried they might block the rear vents, but they seem okay. fit like a glove tho!

Adding my two cents! Since ur looking for value, I would suggest comparing these: * Husky Liners WeatherBeater Floor Liners for 2022-2024 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid: Better grip and cheaper than the boutique brands.
* WeatherTech FloorLiner for 2022-2024 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid: Super durable, but they can get kinda slippery when wet imo. Honestly, just be realy careful with the battery vent... make sure the mats dont block it or things might overheat! gl

> One of my main concerns is ensuring the mats don't accidentally block the battery air vents in the back. In my experience, safety is key. I'd suggest 3D MAXpider KAGU Series Floor Liners for 2022-2024 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid cuz they're reliable and wont block your vents... ngl I think they're the safest choice.

Yo, just found this thread. Honestly, after years of looking into this stuff, I’ve realized that most 'custom' mats are actually kinda disappointing when you get into the technical details. I’ve had issues with brands claiming edge-to-edge coverage but leaving huge gaps near the door sill. Before I give my full advice, I gotta ask: are you driving the standard Hybrid (HEV) or the Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV)? The floor layout is slightly different because of the battery placement, and if you get the wrong set, it wont sit flush or might block the vents. Basically, I’ve compared these two for other owners:
* Smartliner Custom Fit Floor Mats for 2022-2024 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid - Good value, but unfortunately the plastic feels a bit cheap.
* Hyundai OEM All-Season Floor Liners (P0F63-AU000) - These fit the vents perfectly, but dead pedal coverage is honestly terrible. Lmk which model you have! 👍

Curious about one thing: are you driving the Limited trim or one of the lower ones like the Blue or SEL? Before I give advice, I really need to know because the vent geometry can slightly vary, and for a technical, edge-to-edge fit, it’s basically the most important detail. Anyway, I've spent years obsessing over cabin protection and technical specs for hybrids: - In my current setup, I’ve found that high-wall coverage is AMAZING for mud, but you gotta watch the material. If it’s too soft, it’ll eventually sag right where the battery intake pulls air.
- Technical tip: My previous mats (different car, same struggle) actually caused a minor sensor trip because the lip was just a millimetre too high near the vents. - I honestly prefer mats with a rigid core; my current ones stay locked onto the dead pedal without any shifting, which is SO important for safety. I'm super stoked you joined the hybrid club! Let me know your trim so I can give you a better technical breakdown. Peace.
