Hey everyone, I recently picked up a 2013 Infiniti G37 sedan and I’m looking to upgrade the interior protection. The previous owner left the OEM carpet mats in pretty rough shape, and since I live in an area that gets a fair amount of rain and mud, I’m worried about ruining the floorboards. I’ve been looking at the usual suspects like WeatherTech and Husky Liners, but I’ve heard mixed reviews about the fitment near the dead pedal and how well they stay tucked into the side trim of the G37 specifically.
I’m really looking for something that has a premium look to match the Infiniti interior—nothing too industrial-looking—but it absolutely needs to have high edges to catch spills. I’m also curious if anyone has experience with the OEM all-season rubber mats versus the high-end 3D MAXpider ones. My budget is around $150–$200 for a full set, but I’m willing to stretch it if the fit is truly seamless and doesn't slide around under the pedals. For those of you with the sedan, which brand actually follows the contours of the floor the best without leaving annoying gaps?
Hi there, and congrats on the new G37! Honestly, I totally get the struggle with the OEM carpets—they wear out so fast. For your situation, I would suggest looking into the 3D MAXpider Kagu Series All-Weather Floor Mats for Infiniti G37 Sedan.
I’ve tried the industrial-style ones before, but they just felt too "truck-like" for an Infiniti. The 3D MAXpiders are amazing because they have a carbon fiber texture that looks super premium and matches the interior vibes perfectly! Here is why I love them:
* **Perfect Fit:** They seriously follow every contour, especially that tricky dead pedal area.
* **High Edges:** Definitely catches all the mud and rain without leaking onto the floorboards.
* **Price:** Usually around $160-$180, so right in your budget!
I also considered the WeatherTech FloorLiner for Infiniti G37 Sedan, but I found them a bit too stiff and they sometimes gap at the edges over time. Stick with the 3D MAXpider... it's a game changer! Hope this helps!

Re: the Kagu recommendation... I would be a bit careful going that route if you are really dealing with a lot of mud and gunk. A buddy of mine bought a set for his G37 a few years back and while they looked sharp at first, that top texture started peeling near the heel pad after just one winter. IIRC, he had some issues with the backing not gripping the carpet as well once they got wet a few times. Not 100% sure if they updated the design since then, but it is something to think about if you are planning to keep the car long-term. Personally, I have always been a bit skeptical of those layered mats for heavy-duty use. Someone on another forum mentioned that the OEM all-season rubber ones, even tho they look a bit plain, actually stay locked into those floor pins way better. Just make sure whatever you get doesnt interfere with the gas pedal because these cars have that floor-mounted hinge which can be finicky with thicker mats... keep an eye on that fitment around the dead pedal too.
