Just grabbed a new Telluride and need to protect the interior from my kids and dog! I’m debating between TuxMat and WeatherTech for floor mats. Also, does anyone have seat cover recommendations that actually fit the second-row captain's chairs well? Looking for durability without sacrificing style. What’s worked best for your setup?

yo, congrats on the new Telly!! Honestly, I’ve been through this dance a few times with my own kids and a messy dog. In my experience, you reallyyy want high sidewalls for those inevitable spills. Here’s what I recommend:
* Go with TuxMat Floor Mats for Kia Telluride... they literally cover every inch of the carpet and look way more premium than the WeatherTech FloorLiner Kia Telluride. WeatherTech is okay but kinda plasticky imo.
* For the seats, Coverking Neosupreme Seat Covers for Kia Telluride Captains Chairs are the way to go. They fit like a glove and the neoprene is super durable against dog claws. TuxMat is way easier to wipe down when the kids spill juice everywhere lol its pretty much the best combo for keeping it looking clean without losing that nice interior feel... good luck with the new ride! 👍

Sooo I went through this last year when we got our Telly. Honestly, I spent way too many hours researching cuz I didn't wanna drop $500 just on interior protection lol. I mean, the car was already expensive enough, right?? > "Looking for durability without sacrificing style. What’s worked best for your setup?" I totally feel u on the dog and kids struggle. I initially looked at the big brands mentioned in the other replies, but being practical, I wanted something that wouldn't break the bank but still looked "factory." I basically went on a mission to find the best value-to-style ratio. I ended up trying the 3D MAXpider KAGU Series Floor Mats for Kia Telluride. I liked them cuz they have this sleek texture that looks way more high-end than the utility/plastic vibe of other brands, and they were a bit easier on my wallet at the time. Here is the why behind my setup: The 3D Maxpider mats use a triple-layer design. The bottom layer grips the carpet so they don't shift (safety first!), and the middle foam layer actually helps with sound dampening. It makes the ride a bit quieter, which is a nice bonus when the kids are rowdy. For the seats, I tried some cheap universal ones first—big mistake. They slid everywhere and looked like trash tbh. I finally found the EKR Custom Fit Full Set Seat Covers for Kia Telluride. I went with neoprene because it's literally like a wetsuit; it's waterproof for spills but doesn't get scorching hot in the sun like fake leather does. For the dog, I just toss a Active Pets Dog Back Seat Cover Protector over the second row when we head to the park. It's way cheaper than full custom covers for just the pup. Anyway, that’s just what worked for my budget... hope it helps a bit! peace

Honestly, before diving into the deep end of the brands, are you looking more for that 'luxury' interior look or is this strictly a 'survive the kids' type of situation? Just curious if you're trying to match the leather trim specifically or if you're okay with a more rugged, rubberized vibe for the floor stuff. When I was doing my market research last year, it was SO overwhelming seeing the price gaps between the big names and the generic ones you see all over the place. I actually went through two different sets before I found a setup that worked for my Telly. My first set looked amazing online but didn't actually line up with the floor clips, which was basically a nightmare. Tbh, I realized the 'premium' market often charges for the name, but the budget options can be a total gamble with the fitment around the captain's chairs. My current setup isn't perfect, but it handles the dog mud way better than the factory ones ever did. It's a tricky balance between saving some cash and actually getting something that won't slide around under the pedals tho.

Respectfully, I'd consider another option. Carpet mats shift! • WeatherTech FloorLiner HP: Better safety/grip.
• Smartliner Custom Fit Floor Mats: More affordable. Rigid liners prevent pedal interference, basically. peace
