Hey everyone! I recently picked up a 2023 Lincoln Navigator L, and while I absolutely love the luxury interior, the light-colored carpets are already starting to show some wear and tear from the kids and our weekend trips to the lake. With winter right around the corner, I really need to invest in some high-quality all-weather floor mats before the mud and slush take over for good.

Since it's the 'L' model, I’m specifically worried about finding a set that fits the extended wheelbase perfectly, especially for that third row and the massive cargo space behind it. I’ve looked at the standard WeatherTech liners, but I’ve heard mixed reviews about how they handle the thick carpeting in the Navigator and whether they tend to slide around. I’m also curious if anyone has tried the Husky X-act Contours or maybe even the official Lincoln accessory liners—do the OEM ones offer enough coverage for the sides? I’m looking for something that stays in place and doesn't look too 'industrial' against the premium leather.

Has anyone here found a brand that fits the Navigator L like a glove and actually covers the center aisle between the second-row captain's chairs? I’d love to hear your recommendations on what’s worked best for your rigs!

Seconding the recommendation above! Youre totally right about those hard liners—they can be super slippery on that thick Lincoln carpet, which is actually a bit of a safety concern if they shift around near the pedals. Since you wanna avoid that industrial vibe but still need serious coverage for the kids and lake trips, I HIGHLY recommend looking at 3D MAXpider KAGU Series Floor Mats. They have this patented MAXpider fiber backing that literally grips the carpet like Velcro without damaging it. It stays put way better than those hard plastic nibs!

Another amazing option is TuxMat Custom Floor Mats for Lincoln Navigator L. They offer the most coverage Ive ever seen, basically going all the way up the side walls.

* 3D MAXpider KAGU Series Floor Mats - Very sleek, carbon fiber texture, stays put.
* TuxMat Custom Floor Mats for Lincoln Navigator L - Maximum vertical coverage for mud and slush.

Honestly, just make sure you line up the retention clips perfectly during the install to be 100% safe. Those light carpets are gorgeous but man, they're a full-time job lol. gl! 👍

Yo, congrats on the 2023 Navigator L! Honestly, those light carpets are a bold choice with kids lol. I've tried a few setups and tbh, for the Navigator's thick pile, WeatherTech FloorLiners can sometimes feel a bit "plastic-y" and slide if the nibs don't bite right into the plush floor.

If you want that premium feel, I'd suggest looking at Husky Liners X-act Contour Floor Mats. They're way more rubberized and "grippy" compared to the WeatherTechs, so they dont slide around as much on the Lincoln's luxury carpet. Plus, they look way less industrial and feel softer under your feet.

But for the *perfect* aisle coverage in the L model, the Lincoln Accessories All-Weather Floor Liners are actually pretty legit. They have the Lincoln logo and fit the 2nd-row pass-through perfectly, though the sides aren't quite as high as the Husky ones. If you're hitting the lake often, Husky Liners X-act Contour Floor Mats are probably the safest bet for maximum coverage. Just make sure to double-check the part number for the L extended wheelbase... anyway, hope that helps! gl!

sooo i stumbled upon this and had to jump in cuz i've been through like four different Navigators over the last decade lol. honestly, that thick Lincoln carpet is both a blessing and a curse. it feels like heaven under your feet but it's a total nightmare for mat stability...

in my experience, if you want to avoid that 'industrial' vibe you mentioned, you gotta look at the premium 3D molded options. i've tried the heavy-duty rubber ones and they always look out of place in a luxury cabin. plus, those hard plastic liners—the kind everyone usually buys—really DO slide around if the retention clips aren't perfect. over the years, I've found that the mats with a fiber-texture backing—the ones that feel kinda like velcro—are the only ones that truly stay put on that plush pile.

basically, i'd say go with 3D MAXpider. you cant go wrong with them if you want that sleek look that actually matches the premium leather. they aren't the cheapest option out there, but you gotta think about the resale value of those carpets... saving fifty bucks now might cost you five hundred in professional detailing later. another solid direction for a rig this size is TuxMat if you want max coverage—they basically cover every inch of the footwell and side walls. they're pretty much the gold standard for luxury SUVs now imo. both brands handle the extended wheelbase of the 'L' perfectly. just make sure you double check the 2nd-row console config before you hit buy! gl!
