We’re taking our Navigator L on its first cross-country trip with the kids next month! I want to keep the cabin organized and comfortable. Are there specific cargo organizers or tablet mounts that work best with the interior? Also, does anyone use a particular console fridge or seat protector? What are your must-have accessories for long hauls?

Just sharing my experience: I went through this last year when prepping for our first big haul. I'm basically a beginner with car mods, but I did a bit of technical research to find stuff that actually fits the interior without breaking the bank.

- For the kids, I grabbed the Loncaster Universal Car Phone Tablet Holder for about $20. Its silicone grip design is technically better for dampening vibrations than the cheap plastic clips, imo.
- In the back, I use the Drive Auto Car Organizer - XL which cost about $35. It basically matches the floor dimensions and keeps gear from sliding around during sharp turns.
- To save the leather, I went with the Lusso Gear Car Seat Protector with Thickest Padding for $25. It actually prevents those deep, permanent indents from the kid's car seats.

Anyway, that's what worked for me... depends on ur needs, but it's a solid, cost-effective setup. gl!

honestly, if ur looking for value, skip the dealer accessories. i've used the Setpower AJ30 32 Quart Portable Freezer Fridge for years... it fits great between the middle seats and only pulls about 45W. plus, the Zone Tech Three Pocket Mesh Cargo Net is like twenty bucks and actually keeps gear from flying around that huge trunk. super practical and way cheaper than the official stuff! gl!

> What are your must-have accessories for long hauls? ^ This. Also, I am basically in the exact same boat right now and it is honestly so frustrating. I have been scouring the web for like three weeks trying to find gear that actually fits the Navigator L dimensions properly, but comparing the premium brands to the generic store stuff has been a total nightmare because nothing seems to match the interior quality. I spent all day yesterday looking at the differences between boutique organizers and mass-market options and I still dont know what actually functions better or stays in place... been dealing with this for a month and it is such a struggle when you just want a clean setup for a long haul.

I've been driving these beasts for years and honestly, the best thing I ever did was stop overthinking the expensive catalog stuff. On our last trip to the coast, I got tired of the kids' snacks ending up in the seat creases, so I actually spent a weekend building some custom wooden dividers for the trunk area. It sounds crazy but it fits the exact depth of the L way better than any "universal" bin I tried. For the entertainment side, I found that those bulky headrest mounts usually shake way too much on the highway. I ended up modding my own bracket using some heavy-duty velcro and a simple backing plate I had in the garage. It stays rock solid even when we're hitting potholes. I'm really happy with how it turned out because the interior stays looking clean without a bunch of plastic arms sticking out everywhere. My current setup hasn't failed me in three years of heavy hauling, and the peace and quiet in the back is basically priceless when you're ten hours deep into a drive.

Oh man, congrats on the Navigator L!! It's such an AMAZING ride for a family trip! Ngl, I'm still basically a beginner with mine, but I've been super cautious about what I add... safety first, right?? For cargo, I think I heard that the official Lincoln organizers are the best bet because they actually lock into the floor. You definitely don't want stuff sliding around if you have to brake hard! I'm not 100% sure, but I guess some people prefer the WeatherTech seat protectors cuz they're like, super durable? Just be really careful they don't block any side airbag sensors... maybe ask a pro about that? And for tablet mounts, honestly, I'd go with the ones that screw onto the headrest poles. They feel way more secure to me! Good luck on ur big trip!! 👍
