Honestly I'm getting so frustrated with my 2019 ND. Everyone raved about how these things are the ultimate drivers car but every time I take it out on the mountain roads here in Asheville I just feel... underwhelmed? Like dont get me wrong it handles okay but the body roll is actually driving me insane. I feel like I'm captaining a boat half the time I swear. And the power is just not there. I got overtaken by a freaking Honda Odyssey the other day while trying to merge and it was the most humbling and infuriating experience of my life. I really want to love this car because it looks great but right now I'm seriously considering trading it in for something with actual kick unless I can fix these issues without breaking the bank. I've got about $3500 saved up to throw at this thing over the next couple months and I need to know what actually works because I'm tired of reading forum threads from 2012 that dont apply to the newer engines.
Here is what I'm looking for:
Is a tune actually worth it on these? Or am I just wasting my money trying to make a slow car fast? I really dont want to go forced induction yet because of the cost and the reliability scares me but man I need some more oomph. I'm looking for a setup that makes it feel like a real sports car and not a glorified cruiser for retirees. What are you guys actually running that makes a noticeable difference? I'm tired of the just enjoy it for what it is crowd... I want to actually enjoy driving it for once...
^ This. Also, just catching up here... honestly I remember my first mountain run in the ND and basically almost got seasick from the roll! It was wild. To really wake it up, I used:
I felt the same until I sorted my ND2. Focusing on handling first makes it feel way faster. Im super satisfied with this combo:
