Hey everyone! I just picked up a brand new Mitsubishi Mirage G4 and I’m absolutely loving the fuel efficiency so far. Since it's my first new car, I really want to keep it in great shape while making the daily commute more comfortable. I’m already looking into some deep-dish floor mats to protect the carpet and a solid phone mount since the dashboard layout is a bit unique. I’m also wondering if a trunk organizer is necessary given the G4's specific trunk shape. What are some other practical, 'must-have' accessories you'd recommend for a new owner? Any specific brands that fit the Mirage's interior best without breaking the bank?

yo, congrats on the new ride! honestly, the G4's gas mileage is SO good but the interior needs some help. I would suggest staying away from generic window visors... I had issues with a cheap set that basically just peeled off after two weeks. unfortunately, that was a total waste of $30 and not as good as expected. Instead, definitely look for Wellvisors Side Window Deflectors for Mitsubishi Mirage G4.

For the floor, Husky Liners Weatherbeater Floor Mats are a total lifesaver. i think they're better than the WeatherTech ones because they're a bit more flexible and easier to pull out for cleaning. Plus, for that weird dashboard, I use the iOttie Easy One Touch 5 Car Mount. It actually stays put on the textured dash. Trunk-wise, you definitely need an organizer cuz stuff just slides everywhere in there. I use the Drive Auto Trunk Organizer and it fits the G4's deep trunk perfectly. gl with the new car!! 👍

TL;DR: Skip cheap visors; buy seat covers and a sunshade instead.

+1 to what was said earlier! I once bought cheap visors and they basically peeled off, so I’d suggest getting FH Group Universal Fit Flat Cloth Seat Covers and the EcoNour Car Windshield Sun Shade for practical protection. Lesson learned: cheap adhesives fail, so stick to interior gear!

Man I wish I found this thread sooner. Would have saved me so much hassle.

Coming back to this, congrats on the G4! Ngl, the gas savings are the best part. Respectfully, I'd actually suggest a different approach. While I get wanting to protect the seats, I highkey prioritize safety and reliability first for a daily commuter.

I'd compare these budget alternatives:
Option A: Visibility. Ampper 2 inch Square Blind Spot Mirrors ($8) are literally essential because the G4's rear pillars are kinda thick.
Option B: Emergency prep. An AVAPOW 1500A Car Jump Starter ($40) is way better than being stranded.
Option C: Evidence. A 70mai Dash Cam M300 ($35) is the best cheap insurance.

I mean... seat covers are cool, but safety gear keeps you on the road. Also, I'd skip the trunk organizer—the G4's trunk is deep enough that stuff doesn't slide much anyway. I'm sooo much more satisfied with these upgrades. Just my two cents! gl! peace.
