I just picked up my Nissan Ariya and want to deck it out! I’m looking for tech that really complements the cabin. Are there specific screen protectors for those massive dual displays or maybe a better wireless phone adapter? I’d love to know what gadgets you guys use daily to improve the driving experience. What are your absolute essentials?
sooo i've spent way too much time testing gear for the 12.3-inch dual displays. Basically, you gotta get the Spigen Tempered Glass Screen Protector GLAS.tR Slim Anti-Glare for Nissan Ariya because it handles glare way better than the cheap ones. For connectivity, the Motorola+MA1+Wireless+Android+Auto+Adapter&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Motorola MA1 Wireless Android Auto Adapter is the most stable option i've found with minimal latency... it really cleans up the console area, you know? good luck!!

Just sharing my experience: I went through this last year. I was worried about scratches but didnt wanna drop Spigen money. I tried the Supershieldz (2 Pack) Designed for Nissan Ariya 12.3 inch Screen Protector (Matte) and it’s been solid. Honestly, matte is CRITICAL cuz of the glare hitting those screens. Also, I added a CDEFG Ariya Wireless Charging Pad Non-Slip Mat since the stock surface is way too slippery. Best budget-friendly fixes I've found!
Just catching up on this thread and its interesting to see what everyone is doing. Ngl, I am pretty cautious when it comes to messing with the electronics on a brand new EV. I spent a lot of time lurking on the Ariya owner forums before I touched anything because I was terrified of tripping a sensor or messing with the warranty. I really wanted a cleaner look for my dash cam, so I did a deep dive into the technical manuals shared in some of the online groups. I eventually went with a DIY approach using a harness that taps directly into the rearview mirror power. It was way less scary than poking around the fuse box under the dash. My current setup looks like it came from the factory and I didnt have to cut a single wire. If you are looking to add gear, honestly my best advice is to check out the Ariya enthusiast wikis... there are some great step-by-step guides for keeping things clean without risking the cars electrical system.
sooo first off, HUGE warning: dont waste your money on those cheap glossy screen protectors you see everywhere online. the Ariya displays are already pretty reflective and adding more shiny glass makes it literally impossible to see in direct sunlight... it was a total nightmare for me until i swapped it.
heres what i actually recommend based on my setup:
- matte screen protectors: honestly, go matte or dont even bother. it cuts the glare and hides the constant oily fingerprints on the dual screens. i paid about $40 for a decent set and its way better than the $15 junk i tried first.
- high-speed usb-c cables: the built-in wireless charging pad is basically a phone heater. it barely adds any juice while making my phone hot enough to melt. just get a short 1ft cable for a direct link.
tech is kinda hit or miss in this car tbh but these help. gl!
Honestly, I'm pretty new to this whole EV thing and was realy worried about messing up the clean look of the Ariya's interior. I've been doing a lot of market research on dash cams because I want something that feels safe and doesn't clutter the dash. I'm looking at the [[FITCAMX Dash Cam for Nissan Ariya]] because it looks like it actually belongs there. From what I've seen, it basically replaces the plastic piece behind the mirror so there are no wires hanging down. It's a bit more of an investment than the generic ones, but it seems way more reliable for the long term.
I also keep seeing people talk about the [[Carlinkit 5.0 Wireless CarPlay/Android Auto Adapter]]. I was comparing it to some cheaper ones on Amazon, but I'm always a bit cautious about those unknown brands messing with the car's tech. The Carlinkit seems to have a better reputation in the forums, though I'm still debating if I should just stay with the wired connection to be totally safe? It's all a bit confusing when you're just starting out, you know? Just want to make sure whatever I buy doesn't glitch out.
Yep, this is the way
