I just picked up my new 911, and while the interior is stunning, I’m struggling with where to put my phone. The center console layout is a bit tricky, and I really want to avoid blocking the PCM screen or any of the climate controls. I’ve looked at some universal vent mounts, but they feel a bit flimsy for a car like this. I’m hoping to find something that looks integrated—maybe a MagSafe option or something that clips securely near the passenger grab handle? Does anyone have a setup that doesn't involve drilling or messy adhesives? What are you guys using that actually stays put during spirited drives?

yo, congrats on the new 911! basically, the center console is a nightmare for placement because of how the cup holders and pcm screen align. honestly, you gotta understand that these interiors are built tight, so anything that's universal is just gonna rattle or feel cheap. i mean, you dont want to put a flimsy $10 vent clip in a car that handles 1.0g on the corners, right??

For your situation, I would suggest looking at the T-Design9 MagSafe Phone Mount for Porsche 992. It's actually amazing because it clips right onto the passenger grab handle area without any drilling or tape.

So why this one?
1. It keeps the phone at eye level without blocking the screen.
2. It's solid enough for SPIRITED driving.
3. Totally reversible for resale value.

Plus, it looks like it belongs there! If you want something even more minimalist, maybe check out the A-Pillar Mount for Porsche 911 992 but i think the grab handle spot is more ergonomic tbh. good luck!

Seconding the recommendation above about the Rennline stuff, but honestly, I'm super cautious about anything blocking my view or getting in the way if things go south. I had a vent mount snap mid-corner once and it was terrifying... nearly got stuck under the pedals!

If ur worried about safety and want something really tucked away, maybe check out the ProClip Center Mount 855594 for Porsche 911 992. It clips right onto the console trim without glue and feels way more solid than those flimsy universal ones. Plus, you can pair it with the ProClip MagSafe Compatible Magnetic Phone Holder 216229 for a clean look. Just be careful with the install so you dont scratch that nice leather! gl!

oh man, I feel u... spent a fortune on my 911 and the phone situation was honestly a mess. For your situation, I've tried a few things that kinda sucked before finding a winner.

1. Rennline ExactFit Magnetic Phone Mount - Porsche 992 vs A-Pillar Mount for Porsche 911 992
- **Rennline**: This is the GOAT tbh. It bolts behind the dashboard trim so it literally doesn't move. No messy adhesives or drilling. It's super lowkey and looks totally integrated.
- **A-Pillar**: I tried one of those clip-on ones but it was highkey blocking my view during corners. Not as good as expected for spirited driving.

But yeah, definitely go with the Rennline. It's basically the gold standard for us. gl! 👍

yo, congrats on the 911! basically, if youre looking for that high-end integrated feel without the flimsy vent clips, I've spent way too much time researching the market data on this lol. For your situation, I've found that the T-Design and Nine Volt options are the real technical winners here because they use the actual geometry of the 992 interior instead of just sticking stuff on.

Here's what I recommend after looking at the specs:

* T-Design 992 Phone Mount with MagSafe - This one is honestly great because it clips onto the side of the center console trim. No drilling, and it doesnt block the PCM or your vents. It’s rock solid even when you're pushing it on backroads.
* Nine Volt MagSafe Dash Mount for Porsche 911 992 - If you want that ultra-clean look, this fits right into the dash gap. It’s basically designed to look like a factory part.
* Peak Design Mobile Car Mount Adhesive - If you dont mind a tiny bit of 3M on a hidden spot, the ball joint tech on this is way more precise than the cheap stuff you find on Amazon.

I mean, if ur worried about the passenger grab handle area, the T-Design is probably your best bet since it utilizes that specific tension point. I’ve been super satisfied with how it holds my iPhone+15+Pro+Max+without+a&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">iPhone 15 Pro Max without any vibration. Honestly, for a car this fast, you gotta go with something that has a mechanical or high-force magnetic interface... anything else is just gonna fly off when you hit the apex. Hope that helps, gl! 👍
