Hey everyone! I’m beyond excited because my new Macan Electric is finally arriving in a few weeks. It’s my first Porsche EV, and while the interior design is absolutely stunning, I want to make sure I’m fully prepared to keep it pristine from day one. I’ve been browsing a few options, but I’d love to hear from this community.

I’m particularly curious about center console organization. The layout looks sleek, but I’m worried about it becoming a 'black hole' for keys and coins. Also, with all that beautiful glass—including the passenger display and the curved instrument cluster—are people actually using screen protectors, or is that overkill? I’m also a bit nervous about scratching the piano black trim and am looking for ways to protect it without ruining the aesthetic.

Lastly, I’m looking for recommendations on all-weather floor mats and a solid liner for the 'frunk.' Does anyone have experience with the OEM Porsche ones versus high-quality aftermarket brands? I want items that fit perfectly and don't look cheap in such a high-end cabin. For those of you who have already taken delivery, what are the absolute must-have interior accessories you'd recommend to a new owner?

sooo congrats on the Macan Electric! i've spent way too much time obsessing over these interiors... Honestly, for that piano black, don't even breathe on it without protection. I recommend a precut kit like the Xpel Ultimate Plus Interior Protection Film for Porsche Macan—it's 8-mil thick and basically self-healing, which is a must for that high-gloss center area. For the screens, a tempered Spigen Screen Protector Glas.tR Slim for Porsche Macan Electric is lowkey a lifesaver for fingerprints (especially on that passenger display). I've tried many mats, but the Porsche Macan All-Weather Floor Mats are actually better than aftermarket ones because the fitment is 100% precise and they look way classier than bulky plastic. For the frunk, definitely grab the Porsche Cargo Liner for Front Luggage Compartment to protect the trim from dirty charging cables. gl!

sooo congrats on the new ride!! honestly, i've been driving porsches for over a decade and i used to waste so much cash at the parts counter. my biggest lesson was that the 'official' accessories aren't always the best for real life or your wallet. for that center console, you definitely want the Vesul Center Console Tray Organizer for Porsche Macan... it fits like a glove and keeps ur keys from rattling. for the floors, forget the basic rubber ones. i highkey recommend TuxMat Custom Fit Floor Mats for Porsche Macan Electric over the OEM stuff. they cover way more carpet and look way more high-end in a luxury cabin. for the frunk, the WeatherTech Custom Fit Cargo Liner for Porsche Macan EV is a tank and way cheaper than the dealer version. for the piano black, if you dont wanna spend hundreds on a pro wrap, just use some Chemical Guys HydroInterior Ceramic Detailer regularly. it adds a slick layer that makes wiping dust away much safer without scratching. basically, spend ur money on the car, not the dealer markup! gl!

in my experience, piano black scratches instantly and unfortunately my cleaning kit made it worse. i got a 7-mil film which basically fixed the glare... did yours come with protection?

Adding my two cents... you really gotta be careful with those screens. The factory anti-reflective coating is kinda sensitive so I'd avoid chemical sprays entirely. I just keep a The Rag Company Eagle Edgeless 500 Microfiber Towel in the door pocket for dry wiping fingerprints. For the floors, I’d suggest looking at TuxMat Custom Car Mats for Porsche Macan Electric. They offer way more coverage than the OEM rubber mats and protect the side carpets where dirt usually gets trapped. Just make sure they’re snapped in tight... you dont want anything shifting near the pedals with the Macans acceleration. For the frunk, maybe grab a WeatherTech Custom Fit Frunk Liner for Porsche Macan Electric to prevent any spills from reaching the electrical components underneath. Better safe than sorry with a new EV.

Just found this thread! Honestly, youre gonna love the Macan EV... the torque is just insane! When I first got mine, I went down a total rabbit hole comparing the technical specs of the factory accessories versus some high-end stuff from independent brands. I found that the OEM mats actually had a lower Shore A hardness rating than I expected, which meant they wore down pretty fast in the heel area. I ended up swapping them for some custom-fit ones that use a dual-layer composite, and man, the sound dampening alone was worth it! For the frunk, I noticed the official liner felt a bit thin compared to some heavy-duty alternatives I looked at. I went with a thicker molded version from a specialized shop, and its been amazing for hauling messy gear without worrying about the carpet underneath. Also, definitely look into the light transmission percentages if you do screen protection. I found a high-tech one with 99% transparency and it keeps that gorgeous display looking factory sharp while killing all the glare! Its all about those tiny technical details that keep the cabin feeling premium!
