I just picked up my 2024 Crosstrek Hybrid last week and honestly im already kind of losing it. The piano black trim is a total nightmare and already has scratches just from me putting my phone down? Like why would they use that material its so fragile. Plus I live out in the PNW so every time I step in after a hike the factory floor mats just dont cut it and mud is getting everywhere on the carpet.
I have about $300 set aside right now to save this interior before I completely ruin it. What are the actually essential accessories to keep this thing from falling apart? Should I get seat covers or just better liners? i really need to fix this storage situation too because my stuff keeps sliding around...

Regarding what #2 said about "Honestly, those factory mats are just felt-lined junk...." - hes totally right. For serious PNW mud, TuxMat Custom Fit Floor Mats 2024 Crosstrek are awesome because they cover way more carpet than standard liners. To stop your gear from sliding, try a Vehicle OCD Center Console Organizer for 2024 Subaru Crosstrek. Its a cheap fix and makes that deep bin actually useful. Dont worry too much, those scratches happen to everyone eventually.

Honestly, those factory mats are just felt-lined junk. In my experience, you need high-wall thermoplastic elastomers to actually contain the liquid volume. Ive tried many over the years and just get any floor liners from Husky Liners for that coverage. For the sliding stuff, grab a trunk organizer from Lusso Gear. It keeps the weight distribution stable... helps with the lateral Gs.
