Just picked up my Highland Model 3 last week and honestly the interior is a massive step up from the older ones but I still feel like it needs some protection and better storage. I live in the PNW so its basically always raining or muddy and I'm stressing about those carpets already. I spent hours looking at floor mats and I keep seeing people recommend the 3D MAXpider ones but then other guys say the Tesmanian ones are better value for the price and now I cant decide if the extra $100 is worth it for the look. Also seen those center console trays but since the Highland changed the interior slightly I am worried about fitment issues with stuff sold on Amazon right now. Some reviews say they rattle a bit and that would drive me crazy in such a quiet car. I have about 500 bucks to spend on stuff this month and really want to get it right the first time before my kids trash the back seat. What are you guys actually using in your Highland that fits perfectly and doesnt feel cheap?
Tbh I'm really happy with Tesmanian Tesla Model 3 Highland Floor Mats Interior Liners. They worked well after a muddy hike last weekend and didnt cost a fortune.
^ This. Also, if you require maximum coverage for PNW mud, TuxMat Tesla Model 3 Highland All-Weather Floor Mats are the superior choice. They extend much higher up the side walls than competitors. For storage, I suggest the Spigen Tesla Model 3 Highland Center Console Organizer Tray because it features a medical-grade silicone lining. This ensures no rattles even on rough roads. It is a very satisfying, precise fit for the Highland interior.
I checked YouTube and chose 3D MAXpider KAGU All-Weather Floor Mats over the Taptes All-Weather Floor Mats. Theyre honestly way nicer. Fit is perfect. Definitely worth the cash.
Are you planning on doing any long-distance trips with the kids soon or is it mostly just local commuting? Just gotta be careful with moisture trapping under heavy mats because it might mess with the floor sensors. Reminds me of this one time I drove out to the coast and the humidity was so high my dashcam wiring shorted. The fuse box was a total mess to diagnose... anyway lol.
