I recently picked up my GV70 and I’m absolutely loving the premium feel of the cabin, but the trunk area is already starting to look like a disaster zone. Between my gym bag, a few car detailing sprays, and groceries that seem to slide around every time I take a corner, I really need a solid organization system to keep things tidy.

I’m looking for something that actually complements the GV70’s upscale interior rather than just a cheap-looking plastic bin. Ideally, I’d like an organizer that stays secure on the carpeted floor so it isn't shifting during spirited drives. A big priority for me is maintaining easy access to the underfloor storage compartment, so I’d prefer something that isn't too bulky to move or that fits perfectly in one of the side alcoves. I've looked at a few generic options online, but I'm worried about the sizing being awkward or the materials feeling low-quality compared to the rest of the car.

Does anyone have a specific brand or model they’ve found that fits the GV70's cargo dimensions perfectly? I’d love to know what you’re using to keep your gear organized without sacrificing too much trunk space.

Hi there! Oh, I totally get that frustration! When I first got my GV70, I was so worried about ruining that gorgeous interior with messy gear. Actually, I remember taking a sharp turn and hearing my detailing spray bottle explode everywhere—it was a nightmare! Anyway, back to your question, I’ve been researching some high-end options because I'm a bit of a stickler for specs and fitment.

For your situation, I would suggest these two options that really match the premium vibe:

• The Fortem Car Trunk Organizer with Reinforced Handles and Non-Slip Bottom is fantastic because it has sturdy sidewalls that don't sag. It fits nicely on one side so you can still lift the floor panel.
• Honestly, if you want something that looks like it came from the factory, check out the Drive Auto Products Car Trunk Organizer and Storage with Adjustable Straps. It has amazing tie-down straps to keep it SECURE during those spirited drives!

I hope this helps! It seriously makes a huge difference. Good luck!

Story time: I went through this last year when I first brought my GV70 home. Honestly, I spent way too much time obsessing over the exact same thing because I didn't want some cheap polyester block ruining the vibe. I actually tried a generic plastic crate first, but it slid around so much during a highway merge that it left a scuff on the side trim—I was gutted!

After that, I did some digging into more premium-looking materials that wouldn't slip. Here is what worked for me:

- I eventually settled on the Starling's Car Trunk Organizer with Adjustable Straps because the material feels more like high-end luggage than a gym bag. It’s around $40-50, which is a bit more than the basic ones, but the structured walls are super solid.
- For those side alcoves, I found the Lusso Gear Car Trash Can and Small Organizer fits surprisingly well to hold my detailing sprays without them rattling.

That said, I'm still careful when I need to reach the underfloor spare area, but these are light enough to shift. It's definitely a balance between aesthetics and utility!

Seconding the recommendation above! Just be careful with those budget fabric bins; they often lack a rigid base, which means they'll sag and spill your detailing sprays the moment you hit a curve.

I'd compare these two instead:
1. Starling's Car Trunk Organizer with Adjustable Compartments - Best value. It's sturdy and has a non-slip bottom that actually grips the GV70's carpet.
2. Rola 59001 M.O.V.E. Rigid Base Trunk Organizer - The premium pick. It's rigid enough to keep groceries upright but easy to slide when you need to reach the underfloor hatch.

Personally, the Rola 59001 M.O.V.E. Rigid Base Trunk Organizer fits the GV70's upscale vibe way better. Hope this helps!

Im right there with you... honestly been fighting this same battle in my trunk since I brought the GV70 home last year. It feels like every time I take a turn even slightly fast, I hear everything back there doing a gymnastics routine. Over the years Ive learned that a messy trunk doesnt just look bad, it actually drives me crazy when Im trying to enjoy the quiet ride. After trying a few different setups, Ive realized there are some big mistakes people make when trying to tidy up these luxury interiors:

  • Watch out for those cheap organizers with the super rough velcro bottoms. They might stay put, but they will absolutely shred the premium carpet in the Genesis if you move them around too much.
  • Dont get something so bulky that it blocks the handle for the underfloor compartment. I made that mistake once and it was a total pain when I actually needed to get to my emergency kit in a hurry.
  • Pay attention to the weight distribution. If you put all your heavy detailing sprays in one corner of a flimsy bin, the whole thing is gonna tip over the first time you hit a highway on-ramp. Basically just saying I feel your pain. Still searching for that perfect balance myself... its tough to find something that doesnt look like it belongs in a beat-up minivan.

Gonna try this over the weekend. Will report back if it works!
