Hey everyone! I finally pulled the trigger and took delivery of my new Lexus RX 350h last week, and I am absolutely in love. The ride is incredibly smooth, and that quiet hybrid transition is just world-class. However, now that I’ve actually started using it for daily errands and family trips, I’m realizing that as beautiful as the interior is, it’s going to be a challenge to keep it looking showroom-ready.
The Macadamia interior I chose looks stunning, but I’m already paranoid about denim dye transfer on the seats and scuffs on the door panels. I really want to find some high-quality interior accessories that add functionality without making the cabin look cheap. For example, that massive 14-inch touchscreen is a total fingerprint magnet—has anyone found a tempered glass protector that doesn't kill the clarity or touch sensitivity? Also, the center console is basically a giant dark hole; I’m desperate for an organizer tray that actually fits the latest dimensions so I’m not digging around for my sunglasses and keys every time I stop.
Another thing I'm looking into is cargo protection. Since it's a hybrid, I want to make sure I have a solid liner for the trunk that won't slide around, especially since I'm often hauling groceries or sports gear. I’ve seen some 'tuxedo' style floor mats online that look pretty sleek, but I’m curious if they actually hold up against mud and spills as well as the bulky rubber ones.
I’ve spent a good chunk of change on this car, so I don't mind spending a bit more on 'premium' accessories if they genuinely fit the Lexus aesthetic. I’m not looking for generic 'one size fits all' stuff from a big box store.
For those of you who have had your RX Hybrid for a few months now, what are the absolute 'must-have' interior accessories you’ve added? Are there any specific brands or hidden gems you’d recommend for keeping the cabin organized and protected?
Yo, congrats on the 350h! Honestly, I felt the exact same way when I brought mine home last year. I’ve got the Macadamia interior too and the first time I saw a blue smudge from my jeans... I literally almost died lol. It's a gorgeous color but man, it's high maintenance. In my experience, you gotta be proactive. For that massive screen, I use the Spigen Tempered Glass Screen Protector for 2023-2024 Lexus RX 14-inch Touchscreen. It’s basically invisible and doesn't mess with the touch sensitivity at all. To stop the 'dark hole' console situation, I grabbed the JDMCAR Center Console Organizer Tray for 2023 2024 Lexus RX350 RX350h RX500h. It fits perfectly and gives you a spot for ur coins and sunglasses without looking like cheap plastic junk. For the cargo area, I went with the Lexus Genuine Integrated Cargo Liner for RX350h. It’s way better than generic ones because it actually covers the back of the seats when you fold them down, which is sooo helpful for grocery runs. And for the mats? Ngl, TuxMat Floor Mats for 2023-2024 Lexus RX Hybrid are the way to go. They look super premium—way more 'tuxedo' than 'work truck'—and they actually trap spills better than the OEM rubbers. Lesson learned after a year: don't cheap out on the accessories. You spent the money for a Lexus, so keep it lookin like one! If you’re worried about the seats, just get a good leather cleaner like Chemical Guys Leather Cleaner and Conditioner and wipe them down once a month. Cheers!
I went through this last year! Macadamia is gorgeous but sooo stressful lol. In my experience, prep is cheaper than cleaning later: • Gyeon Q2 LeatherShield 50ml vs basic cleaners: The coating is more upfront but literally blocks denim dye for a year.
• TuxMat Custom Floor Mats for Lexus RX vs WeatherTech FloorLiners: TuxMat looks way more premium for the same price. Both saved me money tho! Any dash tips??
Quick question - do you have the ventilated seats? I ask because I've unfortunately seen some heavy coatings clog the perforations and mess with the sensors, which is a huge safety risk. For the screen, I actually had issues with glass protectors cracking. I'd go with the ScreenProtech Lexus RX 14-inch Interior Protection Film instead. It wont shatter during an accident. Safety first, right? Generic cargo liners are pretty much a disaster too.
