I just picked up my 2024 RX 350h yesterday and I am honestly terrified of ruining the interior already. The seats are that light Macadamia color and I have two kids who basically live in the backseat with juice boxes and muddy shoes. I spent months saving up for this car and the thought of a spill or a scuff is actually giving me heart palpitations. I looked online and everyone keeps saying to get the WeatherTech FloorLiners because they cover more of the carpet than the Lexus ones but then I saw a post on a different forum saying the plastic feels cheap and slippery compared to the official Lexus all-weather mats. Does the OEM stuff actually catch the spills though? I also saw some weird universal seat covers on Amazon but they look like they might mess with the seat heaters or the airbags and I dont want to break anything on a brand new car. My budget is around 500 dollars for the whole setup but I need to get this sorted before our road trip to the mountains next weekend. Does anyone have a specific brand of seat protectors that actually fits the new RX curves without looking like a garbage bag or should I just stick to the factory stuff for the floors and hope for the best... what are the absolute best interior protection accessories for this specific hybrid model?

@Reply #1 - good point! Quick question, are the kids still in boosters? Might want to consider WeatherTech Cargo Liner for 2024 Lexus RX since gear will definitely stain that macadamia trunk carpet.

Honestly, i went through the same panic with my 350h. I compared specs and stayed satisfied with these:
- Lexus RX 350h OEM All-Weather Floor Liners
- These use a rubberized polymer that works well because it has higher friction than TPE...
- Lusso Gear Car Seat Protector Waterproof Padding
- High-density foam prevents indentations in the light leather and catches spills. No complaints with the OEM fit, it feels way more premium than the thin plastic aftermarket brands.

OMG, i felt that same panic when I got mine! Quick question tho, how old are your kids exactly? It really changes what protectors you actually need for those Macadamia seats. Honestly, there is a fantastic video on YouTube if you just search 2024 Lexus RX interior protection review. It shows every option in real time!

Saw this earlier but just getting back to you. I've spent way too much time testing automotive plastics and textiles over the years, and that Macadamia interior is definitely a challenge. In my experience, most people overlook the side carpet areas where kids kick. I switched to TuxMat Custom Floor Mats for Lexus RX 2023-2024 Models because they offer significantly more vertical coverage than the OEM stuff. They use a three-layer material that's surprisingly quiet and doesn't get slippery when wet. Safety-wise, stay away from those universal seat covers. They can seriously mess with the side-impact airbag deployment timing. Instead, I usually apply Gtechniq L1 Leather Guard Antimicrobial 100ml to the seats. It creates a molecular barrier that stops juice or denim dye from soaking in without blocking the seat ventilation pores. Also, grab some Lusso Gear Kick Mats 2-Pack Heavy Duty for the seat backs. It's a cheap way to stop those muddy shoe scuffs on the rear plastic panels before your mountain trip next week.
