Hey everyone, I just finally took delivery of my new Porsche Macan Electric, and honestly, I am still in that phase where I am terrified of even bringing a coffee inside. The interior is absolutely stunning, and I went with the extended leather package, but now I am realizing just how much maintenance it might need to stay looking this sharp.

Since this is a brand new model, I am a bit lost on which accessories are actually worth the investment and fit the specific dimensions of the EV version. I really want to protect the high-traffic areas without making the cabin look like a construction zone.

First off, I am specifically looking for recommendations on high-quality floor mats. I have seen the standard all-weather ones from the dealership, but I am wondering if there are any premium aftermarket options that provide deep coverage for the footwells but still maintain that high-end Porsche aesthetic. Also, the amount of glass and piano black trim in this car is insane. Does anyone have a preferred screen protector for the main infotainment unit and the passenger display? I am already seeing fingerprints everywhere after just a few days, and I am worried about micro-scratches appearing over time.

Another big concern for me is the center console and the seat bolsters. Are there any specific leather conditioners or ceramic coatings for the interior that you guys swear by? I am particularly worried about denim dye transfer from blue jeans staining the lighter leather over time. I am hoping to keep my budget for these initial protection pieces around $400 to $600, but I am willing to spend more if the quality is truly there.

Has anyone found any great custom-fit liners or protectors that they have already installed in their Macan EV? I would love to hear what brands you are trusting to keep your interior in mint condition!

In my experience, that first month of ownership is always the most stressful... but anyway, Ive been through this with plenty of P-cars over the years. The new Macan EV is a stunner but definitely needs some protection to keep it mint.

  • For the footwells, I suggest TuxMat Custom Car Mats for Porsche Macan EV. They offer way more vertical coverage than the Porsche all-weather ones and honestly look much more premium in the cabin.
  • To handle the piano black and screens, you reallyyy need the ScreenProTech Porsche Macan Electric Interior Protection Kit. It covers the center display and passenger screen to stop fingerprints and micro-scratches effectively.
  • For the leather bolsters, Ive sworn by Gtechniq L1 Leather Guard Antibacterial for a long time. It is basically the industry standard for preventing denim dye transfer on light interiors. So yeah, those three should keep your budget well under $600. Gl!

> Also, the amount of glass and piano black trim in this car is insane. Late to the party but I totally feel you on that new car anxiety!! Honestly, I went through this last year with a similar high-gloss interior and I was literally terrified of every tiny dust spec. Since youre trying to stay under $600 total, I'll share how I kept costs down cuz those specialized kits can get realy pricey. For the piano black, I know others suggested the pre-cut kits, but I actually just used a small roll of Vvivid Clear Paint Protection Film and cut it myself for the center console area. It cost me maybe $25 and works just as well as the $100 versions if you have a steady hand. Just be SO careful with the blade near that extended leather... seriously, dont rush it or youll regret it. I've found that DIY is the way to go if you want to save that budget for tires later. Regarding the leather, Ive seen people drop $200+ on professional coatings, but in my experience, keeping it simple is usually safer for the material long-term. I used Chemical Guys Leather Cleaner and Conditioner which is like $15. It doesnt have the crazy 2-year longevity of a ceramic, but for preventing denim transfer, you just gotta wipe it down every month or so. It is basically a ritual for me now. For the floors, if you wanna save cash over the TuxMat Custom Car Mats mentioned earlier, I found that WeatherTech FloorLiner HP usually runs way cheaper and is basically indestructible. It looks a bit more utility than luxury but it saves you money for charging costs lol. Just sharing what worked for my budget over the years... gl with the new EV!

Totally agree with the above, but honestly, be realy careful with those gloss surfaces. I would suggest the ScreenProTech Porsche Macan EV Interior Screen Protector Kit to prevent micro-scratches on the delicate piano black and displays. Also, for the seats, Colourlock Leather Shield is basically the industry standard for preventing denim dye transfer on light Porsche hides without affecting breathability. Better safe than sorry, right? gl!
