Taking delivery of my Macan EV next Friday and need to gear up fast. Saw people arguing about WeatherTech vs OEM liners but some say the Porsche ones dont cover enough? I'm in rainy Seattle so it's urgent.

  • $500 budget
  • fits the new EV layout
  • ships fast

What else is actually essential?

Friday is gonna be awesome! Congrats on the new ride. Living in the PNW too, I totally get the urgency with the rain and mud. I have tried a few setups and here is my take on the mat situation for the EV.

  • Porsche Macan Electric All-Weather Floor Mats: I am pretty satisfied with how these look. They match the interior vibe perfectly and the fit is spot on. But for Seattle? They skip a lot of carpet coverage near the dead pedal, which kinda sucks if your boots are soaked.
  • WeatherTech FloorLiner Macan EV: These are basically indestructible. The walls are higher than the OEM ones, so they catch way more water, though they look a bit industrial for a luxury cabin.
  • TuxMat Porsche Macan EV Floor Mats: These are my favorites. They cover almost every inch of exposed carpet and look way more high-end than the plastic-heavy options. Since you have a $500 budget, grab the mats and a Spigen Glas.tR EZ Fit Screen Protector to keep the fingerprints off that massive dash. That screen is a total smudge magnet...
