What towing accessories are actually essential for a Ram 3500 dually pulling a 16k lb toy hauler? Ive been reading forums for hours and I am just getting more confused because some people swear by the B&W Companion for the factory puck system but others say a Gen-Y torsion hitch is better for my back. I am moving from Colorado to Utah in less than a month and my budget is already stretched thin after the truck down payment. Some guys say the stock one is trash but others say its fine and I just dont want to waste money on stuff I dont need right now...
To add to the point above: stick with the factory brake controller. Be careful overspending on hitches; I would suggest finding a used B&W Companion RVK3600 Fifth Wheel Hitch to save money.
