Hey everyone! I recently upgraded to the Lincoln Navigator L, and while I absolutely love the massive amount of extra trunk space, I am having a bit of a struggle keeping things in place. Because the cargo area is so deep behind that third row, every time I take a turn, my groceries or the kids' sports gear ends up sliding all the way forward. It is honestly a bit frustrating having to practically climb into the trunk just to retrieve a stray bag of groceries that rolled away.
I have been looking for a solid cargo organizer that actually fits the specific dimensions of the L model. I am really hoping to find something that looks high-quality since the interior of this SUV is so premium. Ideally, I want something that is sturdy enough to stay put on the carpet but also easy to remove or fold down when I need to utilize the full flat-loading floor for larger hauls. I have looked at some universal bins, but they always seem too small or slide around just as much as the cargo does.
Does anyone have experience with specific brands like WeatherTech, or maybe even the official Lincoln accessory tray? I am also curious if anyone has found a collapsible system that plays nice with the power-folding third row. What specific cargo management solutions have you found that actually stay secure and fit the width of the Navigator L?
Honestly, that deep trunk is a blessing and a curse. I had the same issue with bags flying everywhere every time I hit a red light. After looking at a few options, the Drive Auto Products Car Cargo Organizer turned out to be a great choice for me. It is super practical and fits the width of the L model perfectly without looking cheap. The cool thing is it comes with tie-down straps that hook into the factory loops in the trunk. It stays rock solid even when I am taking corners a bit too fast. When the power seats need to go down for a big haul, it just collapses flat in seconds and sits out of the way. Some people swear by the WeatherTech CargoTech Cargo Containment System if they have the rubber liners, but for the standard carpeted floor, a sturdy bin like this is way more reliable imo. No more crawling into the back to find a stray apple, which is a huge win for my back.
