Hey everyone! We just picked up our new Mazda CX-90 and we are absolutely loving the interior quality, but I’m struggling a bit with the cargo area. With the third row up, space is obviously a bit tight, and even with the seats folded down, my groceries and gear seem to slide all over that premium carpeting during every turn.

I’m looking for some high-quality cargo organizer recommendations that specifically fit the CX-90's dimensions. I’ve looked at the OEM Mazda options, but I’m curious if there are better aftermarket solutions that offer more flexibility. I specifically need something that won't slide around on the floor and ideally something collapsible for when I need to haul larger items. It would also be great if it didn't block access to the under-floor storage compartment where the spare tire/tools are.

Has anyone found a specific brand or model that fits perfectly between the wheel wells or works well with the third row in place? I’m willing to spend a bit more for something that matches the upscale feel of the cabin. What are you guys using to keep your trunk tidy?

Respectfully, I'd consider another option... save ur money and grab a Starument Collapsible Car Trunk Organizer for like $25. It's cheap, keeps gear steady, and fits perfect... basically a total STEAL tbh.

For your situation, i honestly think you cant go wrong with the Fortem Car Trunk Organizer. Its basically perfect cuz it has those non-slip pads on the bottom so it wont slide on the CX-90 carpeting when youre taking turns. Plus, it's collapsible if you need the space! Another solid one is the Starling's Car Trunk Organizer, which feels a bit more premium. Both fit nicely between the wheel wells and dont block that under-floor storage. good luck!

Sooo, I literally just went through this whole market research phase for my own CX-90 because I couldn't stand the grocery-slide either. When I started looking, I was honestly surprised by how many "premium" brands are out there that actually feel kinda cheap once you touch them. I really wanted something that matched the upscale vibe of the Mazda interior, you know?

I spent a few days comparing the high-end stuff and I ended up going with the Rola 59001 M.O.V.E. Rigid Base Trunk Organizer. It feels super sturdy and has these non-slip feet that actually grip the CX-90 carpeting without being those gross sticky rubber pads that melt. Another one I looked at that's highkey fancy is the Highland 1840100 Black Universal Large Trunk Organizer. It's great because it has adjustable dividers, which is a lifesaver when you're trying to fit stuff between the wheel wells with the third row down.

Basically, the lesson I learned is to look for "rigid base" models. They don't collapse on themselves when they're empty, but you can still fold them flat if you need to haul a big box from Costco or whatever. Plus, they're easy to slide toward the tailgate so you can still grab stuff from the under-floor storage. Good luck with the new ride, it's a BEAUTIFUL car! 👍

I went through this last year. I realized loose gear is basically a *projectile* in a collision, so I obsessed over the friction coefficient of the base. I ended up looking at brands like WeatherTech or Thule because they prioritize structural safety. Honestly, just make sure the attachment points are solid so it doesn't fly forward if you slam the brakes. Safety first, right? gl!

Sooo, after years of hauling gear in SUVs, my big warning is to watch out for those cheap rubber-bottomed bins. They'll actually stain or melt into your premium CX-90 carpeting over time if it gets hot!

I would suggest looking at:
* Collapsible soft-sided bins with cleated bottoms (not rubber pads)
* The WeatherTech cargo blocks since they're super flexible

Honestly, I prefer the blocks cuz you can pin down a single grocery bag or a whole stroller, and they don't block that sub-floor latch. Just my two cents tho!

I’ve been driving my CX-90 for a few months now and honestly, I just wanted something that didn't feel like a whole science project to set up. I ended up getting the Lusso Gear Car Cargo Organizer and it’s been pretty great. I’m not like a pro at car gear or anything, but it’s held up really well against all the random stuff I throw in the back. The best part for me has been the tie-down straps—I think those are a must if you’re worried about it moving around on the premium carpet during turns. I was actually surprised how much I use the side pockets for smaller things like umbrellas and reusable bags. It’s also waterproof, which I found out the hard way when some groceries leaked... basically saved my interior from a huge mess. It folds up super small too when I need the extra space for bigger items. Not 100% sure if it’s the most 'upscale' looking one out there maybe? But it definitely gets the job done without being a headache to clean.

Like someone mentioned, the CX-90 handles way too well to have stuff sliding around! It is a fantastic SUV, but that performance means you need a cargo solution that can actually keep up with the G-forces. Quick tip: look for an organizer with high-density base boards. If the base is flimsy, the whole thing will just buckle when you take a corner. I would love to clarify one thing though... how much weight are you usually carrying back there? Are we talking a few grocery bags or heavy gear like tools or gallon jugs? That makes a massive difference in which model will hold its shape best. Honestly, I have had amazing luck with the Higher Gear Car Trunk Organizer Heavy Duty lately. The structural integrity is top-notch and it really stays put on the carpet without needing extra velcro that might tear the fibers!
