Just took delivery of my G80 M3 Competition and want to start modding. It's primarily a daily, but I’d love better throttle response and a more aggressive stance. Should I look into a midpipe or go straight for a full exhaust and lowering springs? What are the must-have upgrades to keep it street-friendly?

• For your situation, I'd grab a Burger Motorsports JB4 Tuner for G80 M3 cuz it realy wakes up the throttle response. • Also, Future Classic BMW G80 M3 Wheel Spacer Kit spacers are definately mandatory for that stance!

Respectfully, I'd consider another option before dropping huge money. Honestly, full exhausts are overkill and unfortunately I had issues with drone on my daily. For a better value setup: 1. Dahler BMW G80 M3 Exhaust Valve Controller - aggressive sound for way less cash.
2. Eibach Pro-Kit Lowering Springs G80 M3 - perfect stance without ruining the dampers. tbh it's the best value play for a street car. Cheers!

In my experience, you gotta be a bit cautious with a daily driver so you don't ruin the ride quality. Over the years I've seen guys regret going too extreme too fast. Basically, if you want that aggressive look and better feel while staying street-friendly, here's what I recommend: - **The Sound:** Skip the full exhaust for now. I suggest the Active Autowerke G80 M3 Single Midpipe—it actually gives a deep growl and better flow without being obnoxious or droning.
- **The Stance:** Instead of basic springs, I highkey recommend the KW Suspension HAS Height Adjustable Spring Kit. It keeps the factory electronic damping but lets you drop it just right.
- **Throttle:** To help it breathe, maybe look into the MST Performance G80 M3 Cold Air Intake. I think starting with the midpipe and HAS kit is the way to go. It's probably the safest way to get that stance without ruining your shocks, ya know? Take it slow tho! peace 👍

Honestly, starting the mod journey on a G80 is a huge step and I totally get the excitement. Reminds me so much of when my brother-in-law picked up his M car and went down this massive rabbit hole. He was obsessed with getting that perfect stance and throttle feel right away. We spent weeks looking at stuff, but then he decided to go with some experimental setup he found on a random blog. One night we were out testing it and something just felt... off. Suddenly the dash lit up like a Christmas tree and we were stuck on the shoulder of the highway at 2 AM. It turned into this massive ordeal where the car was throwing codes left and right, and he spent months arguing with the shop about what actually caused the failure. It really put into perspective how much these precision machines rely on everything working perfectly together. I still think about that whenever I see a brand new M car pull into a driveway... what a headache that turned out to be for him.
