What are the best exterior styling things I can get for an Audi e-tron GT that wont break the car or look too crazy? Sorry if this is a super dumb question but I literally just got the car and I have zero clue what I am doing. I finally saved up enough for a pre-owned one and I am so scared to touch it but at the same time I want it to look a bit different from all the others I see driving around here in LA. I have like a $3,000 budget to spend on some upgrades and I need it done within the next three weeks before my sisters wedding because I promised to drive her to the venue.

I keep seeing words like diffusers and splitters and spoilers on websites but I dont really know what they do or if they are hard to put on. Do I have to drill holes in the car? That sounds terrifying. I was looking at maybe:

  • carbon fiber mirror covers
  • something for the front bumper
  • different badges maybe?

Is there a specific brand that is safe for someone who knows nothing? I really dont want to buy something cheap that falls off on the highway or ruins the paint. Everything online looks so complicated and I am worried I will pick the wrong thing and look like a total idiot...

Building on the earlier suggestion, you really should be careful with anything that requires drilling. Since youre nervous about ruining the paint on a new-to-you car, I would suggest sticking with parts that use high-grade 3M adhesive or factory mounting points. It is much safer and way easier to reverse if you change your mind later. For a $3,000 budget, you can actually get a lot of mileage out of these options:

Been thinking about your budget and deadline. Be careful with cheap carbon because poor fitment creates aerodynamic drag. I would suggest focusing on high-quality surface finishes and mechanical swaps that require zero drilling.

Congrats on the e-tron GT! It is an amazing car and easily the best looking EV on the road right now. Since you have a wedding deadline and dont want to go too crazy, here are two paths I suggest from my own experience:

This is fantastic for a first mod. It is made of ABS plastic so it can take a beating on LA speed bumps without shattering. It is way cheaper than carbon but still looks mean.

If you want that high-end look, Vorsteiner is the king. The carbon weave is beautiful and the fitment is perfect. It is more expensive but the quality is insane! Also grab some Audi Genuine Carbon Fiber Mirror Caps e-tron GT. They just snap on and look amazing! Love the contrast they add against the paint.

Like someone mentioned, keeping it simple is the way to go when you have a hard deadline! Been thinking about your $3k budget and honestly you can get a massive transformation without ever touching a drill. Since you are in LA, you really gotta prioritize heat management and that low-slung style. Here are the three best ways to spend that cash for maximum impact before the wedding:

Pros: This is the secret to making any car look high-end. It pushes the wheels out so they sit flush with the fenders. It looks amazing and makes the car look way more planted and aggressive without buying new wheels.
Cons: You really need a professional shop to torque these down correctly for safety, but it is a super quick 1-hour job.
Cost: Very budget friendly, usually around $400 with labor.

Pros: This is a total game changer for the silhouette! It gives it that stealthy look while blocking nearly all infrared heat. It is a must for an LA summer wedding drive.
Cons: You cant roll the windows down for a couple days after it is done.
Cost: Around $800 for a top-tier shop.

Pros: If you want to spend the rest of your budget, this is it. It looks incredible and usually uses factory clips so no scary drilling is required.
Cons: Shipping might be tight for your three-week window, so check stock today. Focus on the spacers and tint first! They provide the biggest visual change for the least amount of stress tbh.
